Wow! What an exceptional place this little diner is! This was our first trip to Terre Haute and a friend recommended Bev's for lunch! And we were not disappointed! The food was exceptional and the prices are hard to beat! This is not fast food.... this is as close to home cooking as you can get without staying home and cooking it yourself. 10 out of 10 would recommend Bev's Restaurant!

The hamburger was a good size, but dry and not much flavor. Some toppings (onion, lettuce, tomato) were an extra charge. The fries were good, but they were a $2.95 upgrade and the portion size was small. My husband enjoyed his chicken salad sandwich.

Serve cream instead of coffee mate, butter instead of whipped spread and my ideal is real maple syrup and the 5 stars would be given. Wonderful service, small town atmosphere, but I like “real”. Thank you for our nice meal!

We just moved here from Texas and always have loved the Mom and Pops restaurant. This place absolutely exceeded it. Food is delicious and the ambiance is perfect. You will not get this kind of country cookin' in Texas. We will definitely be back. O, and make sure you order one of their homemade pies. Absolutely our new go to place.
I love this restaurant. Her pies are homemade, and the coconut cream pie is a slice of Heaven.

We stopped here on the way back to Houston from Michigan. I was looking for a local restaurant on Google maps. This fit the bill and exceeded expectations! Service was great! Mostly regulars there, but they all seemed friendly. I got the breakfast with eggs, German potatoes, and bacon, plus pancakes. Delicious! Wife got the chicken fried steak with Mac and cheese, and green beans. She loved it, and she is picky. She ate it all. Daughter had the fried cod sandwich and chips. She also ate it all. Will stop by if we're out this way again. My only regret is I did not save room for pie! Next time!

During the Sunday lunch rush, the small staff was busy but still made time for me. The buttery, crispy sourdough toast is my lasting impression of Bev's. They make fresh pies everyday. You won't regret taking a slice home for later. Good value for the prices, and very home-y environment.
