We know better to not come here, but we just wanted chavas and not have to drive to Brazil, like we usually do. The main guy who works there is always rude. Acts like we're wasting his time. Wants to over charge for stuff you don't even end up getting. Wants to charge extra for chips. We found out from the guy from Brazil that it shouldn't cost extra cause it comes with chips, obviously. This time, and now for sure the last time, the guy got mad cause we asked for the beans to be on the side. Since he just throws stuff on and doesn't want to listen and wait to hear what we say he has to toss it. Literally only had to toss rice and beans, and gets super upset over this. So he decides he wasn't putting hardly anything on our nachos. And of course over charges as well. This place needs new staff. I will always drive the extra 20 minutes any time I want chavas from now on. The Brazil staff is awesome and worth the drive. Plus the food always looks like it's been sitting out all day in terre haute.

This is why I’ll never go back, the employee called me stingy, he was playing instead of making food. They literally put 3 pieces of pork on my nachos. I asked for extra veggies and he was going to charge me for it. Also he is the one who put the tortilla chips in my box then removed some, but I’m stingy?…Worst service. I should have took a pic of all the guys working with their hands in their pockets. $15 for what? You guys should feel lucky to be working, but instead it’s disrespect? Hope chavas goes out of business soon. They probably will like their burger shop next door. Only 4 people at one table on a Sunday at 6:30pm lol. Their market is to rip off college kids. If you don’t like the comments I have then learn to do your job and be kind while doing it. Also the food doesn’t even taste good. Everything taste bland with a hint of oregano. The hot sauce isn’t spicy and the beans taste sour. I’m from cali and this place is a joke to the culture!

Always very nice staff, the food is always fresh and delicious, and they're never really too busy so you get your food pretty quickly. The only thing I'd say is wrong with it is the cleanliness of the bathrooms. It's pretty rough. But other than that, amazing place. I go frequently with my friend.Parking: There's 4 business all right there next to it that are usually pretty busy at night so sometimes finding parking is difficult, we have to park a few streets over and walk to it. But I enjoy walking so it's not awful.

The employees are rude and nonchalant about customer service. The food is pretty expensive for what you get and it’s not that great; it’s pretty bland. the horchata is almost spicy and it tastes like a red hot or fireball. the arroz con pollo had barely any cheese on it. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

This place used to be really good. Now it feels like you’re a burden to staff when you go in. Food was subpar and the guy working on 9/11/23 was a so rude that my family just walked out mid-order.What happened to decent service? And we wonder why places don’t make it anymore.It’s cheaper to eat at home and you aren’t treated like trash.

This is a great place for college students to eat. I personally love Mexican food, so having a spot that is close to campus is very nice. From a long day of classes, it is nice to have some Chavas!
