Topeka's best places for Mexican cuisine are in our list.
“BJ's always has good food. It is better to go early than go late, especially on Saturdays. They are only open from 4-8 pm Friday and Saturday. Go from 4-6 pm and the place is empty on Fridays. The taco picture is 2 of their tasty tacos. Each taco is a $1 off on Fridays. The chips are good and decent for dipping. The salsa is average, and has a tiny kick to it hotness wise.“
“This is probably my most favourite Mexican restaurant in Goshen. Although the service can sometimes be a little slow it is worth it for their steak burrito! All the ingredients taste so fresh and the re-fried beans are amazing. The first round of chips and salsa are FREE and the salsa is amazing (albeit a little spicy for those who are sensitive to spice). Prices are good here. Only real critique is that sometimes they are not open when they say they are on the hours listed in front of the store. But despite that I keep going because of the delicious burritos. Would recommend!“
“I worked at Krueger's Jewelry in Ligonier in 1987 just a few doors down from the original location. I remember loving the junior and Leti's combos. I have told people that it was the best Mexican restaurant I ever had. I was scared after 35 years my memories were going to hurt what I thought of my meal today. I was very glad that my memories of this great food were only enhanced after having the Leti combo today. It was exactly how I remember it. Great Prices! Great Food!“
“Excellent authentic Mexican food. Upon sitting we were immediately greeted with very good chips and salsa. The place was slammed, but the entire staff was working very hard to serve everyone. While our food took longer than expected, considering the large volume of business it was not surprising. The food was hot and delicious. Would definitely recommend.“
“The service is always great. They are helpful and will answer any questions. Portions are good and amount of meat and toppings is generous, making you deal like you get your money’s worth. The Quesabria is excellent! They do not have an ATM, but do accept Apple Pay and have a chip reader.“
“(Translated by Google) I highly recommend them, I only tried the gorditas with green pork rinds and steak with potatoes and I really liked them, congratulations to those in the kitchen, everything was great(Original)se las recomiendo mucho, solo probé las gorditas de chicharrón verde y bistec con papas y me gustaron mucho, felicitaciones a los de cocina todo estuvo genialFeatures: no hay medidas contra covid 19, pero creo es así en todo indiana“
“Food was good...wasn't over the top by any means...but it was what is to be expected as an average. The 4 stars for food is because the chips were the yellow corn and had little flavor or maybe were old. Also,, the food just seemed to be okay. Maybe my expectation is too high.. I ordered the shrimp fajitas..it was good but not a huge portion...but again....not bad either!“
“Great hidden gem in shipshewana. I had the street tacos, they came with rice and beans, it was delicous! And Gluten Free!! Great service and even got to chat with the chef. My new favorite food stop!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options!“
“We have been going here for years, and the food is always FRESH and the wait staff efficient. The El Zorrito Burritos is huge and always wonderful. The tres pizza is another favorite. Their breakfast on a sizzling platter is also a favorite if we go for breakfast. Owner is friendly and hands on and can call most customers by their first name. Great place, even if you have to travel a bit to get there.“
