First time here, food was good! They were a little busy and our server warned us service might be slow, but it was great; I think everyone working there had checked in on us at least once before we left.

Stopped in for a drink and snack before a show. Very inviting! Steve, the bartender, was very welcoming and made a great Bloody Mary.

I ordered the broccoli cheddar soup and it was pretty watery and grey. It didn’t taste horrible, but the presentation was off. I ordered a carajillo which was great. My waiter (I can’t remember her name) was wonderful. One thing I should mention is, a small cockroach ran across my table during lunch and ruined the experience for me. my waiter comped my soup, and was super apologetic. It’s not their fault, the place was clean. I just didn’t expect that.

My husband & I decided to pop in after a date night at The Press a few stores down. We came in about an hour before close, guy up front asked about our preferred seating(at the bar, table, or booth) & did not rush us at all while looking at the menu, or when I had questions. All the staff was incredibly kind, friendly, polite & attentive. So much so, I'm writing a review. Which I've never done for food service. I got the brisket Mac, & a the pretzel app. Whatever mustard sauce they gave us? Delicioussss. I wanted a tub to take home. The mac n cheese was a lil' watery, maybe juices from the brisket?? Idk. But it was still rlly good. Bottom line, i loveee this place. Adore the staff & their great service.

Steak that was ordered medium rare was served raw. We also had to grab a different waitress to run our card at the end of the meal because ours left us sitting there for 20 minutes. Wouldn’t recommend.

We had a party of 7 visit here yesterday and it was very disappointing! The service was good and so was the mimosa flight but the food was very under par . The pretzel was just blah and 1/3 of it was hard so it was over cooked while the beer cheese was just ok, I'd had better . The chowder was pretty good , may or may not have ordered it again if I was to ever go back. I had the turkey panini , again , it was just ok nothing I would tell people about that they HAD to go get . Same with the Cuban sandwich. Two friends got the brisket and they were surprised how awful and chewy it was ! The waitress was very nice and understanding, she took it off the bill and gave her a new entree to take home with her bc she couldn't even eat the brisket . The fish and chips wasn't that great either . Only 3 small pieces of thin greasy fish . I posted a video of one of the glasses from the mimosa flight . The bartender made a winter wonderland for the season . He told us he makes a featured mimosa by season .

Pikks was the perfect spot to host my Mom's surprise 60th birthday party! Great food, plenty of options, fair price ( $250 deposit paid for the private room goes towards the final bill) and attentive staff. We went with the 8 appetizer cocktail party for about 25 people and had leftovers we were able to take home. We did not do an "open bar" option but the drink menu is great with plenty of unique options- loved the Pisco Sour.Definitely recommend!

The good is always delicious and the staff is wonderful! Lots of gluten free options, recommended the Salmon!Dietary restrictions: A good amount of gluten free options and they are knowledgeable and watch closely on those specific dishes as well. Been gluten free for 11+ years (intolerance) & always feel very safe & confident in their precautions when eating here.Parking: There is plenty of parking in downtown Valpo. It's an easy walk to all the restaurants.

Ordered a half rack of ribs, meat was very pink inside and I was sent to the bathroom a number of times briefly after eating. I'm not completely sure it was the food here, but with how red my ribs were, I wouldn't doubt
