The birria tacos are so good!! I also love the salsa & guacamole. Those are a win. Also, the rice and beans are actually flavorful here! Many Mexican restaurants have bland rice and beans, not this place. I get extra rice every time, it's so fluffy and so good. Salsa and guac taste amazingly fresh even the next day. Definitely one of the better Mexican restaurants in the area!! The only thing I don't like so far is the chips, I just prefer the other style. Also, if you get take out they don't give you enough chips for a large salsa/guac. Actually I don't think they give you any. I had to order a side of them which is very, very small.

Ordered 6 tacos paid $18. Expensive but I knew it going in. I asked for Green Sauce for the tacos and they charge for those!!! I will never return already paid too much for the tacos I should be able to get a standard condiment for them. I mean that’s like a restaurant charging you for ketchup. The 2 just go together. Oh well their loss. VALPO PRICING is just getting outta hand at some restaurants.

There were pieces of food on table when we sat down, both my Mom and I ordered the Enchiladas Verdes, they were good, but they weren't warm. The cheese inside wasn't even melted. I didn't complain because it's the first time that's happened here. I don't know if they're understaffed or what? It's very unusual for that to happen here. Been here many times before, just making ownership aware.

They didn’t print the bill ahead of time, but had a policy on the bottom of the receipt (that I didn’t get or was informed of prior to paying the bill) that parties of 6 or more are charged 18% gratuity. We were a party of 5, not 6, but changed the additional fee anyway. We ended up paying a tip of 18% AND 20%.
