Just ate the ribeyes from Woodfire and they were fantastic. Closest to. Downtown Chicago restaurant steak that I've had in Valparaiso. Give them your business. By the way, the homemade tamales are great too.

I got a gyro plate & the chicken taco meal ..the gyro plate was AMAZING! Flavorful & seasoned so well! The meat was tender & melt in my mouth even the grease had flavor? ..the chicken tacos could use more seasoning but besides that they accommodated everything I wanted on my tacos & the chicken was tender also ..better if u shred the chicken tho but still 10/10 experience..this was my first time ordering from here

This place went downhill. It was horrible starting with the employee on the phone acting like I couldn't add with his Well remark when he was the one who didn't listen. Asked for crispy fries got double grease soaked soggy fries and burnt little pieces of gyros when asked for crispy. The best was watching the cook use his bare hand to hold my kids cheeseburger while emptying the grease. never again HORRIBLE oh and the rude employees what happened to the nice hispanic guy

Worse than one star it is definitely not authentic what so ever. so don't go there if you want good Mexican food or even decent. Salsa terrible, chips saltier than hell. -5star on my book.

If you've not tried this place you're missing out! Fabulous butcher shop and restaurant is to die for! Victor is such a passionate man about his food. The brisket tacos were delicious. Authentic Mexican and Greek food made with love! Woodfire Grill is truly a gem in Valparaiso. Spanakopita is home made and fabulous

I've eaten here several times and had good experiences. But the last time i stopped in 6/29/21 wasnt so good. I ordered the chorizo burrito I guess it had some chorizo in it but it seemed to be mostly beans. I was brought a plate of chips and salsa, the chips were so oily I didnt touch them. I hope they improve because I really liked the food here before.
Wish I would have known about this place years ago! Drove past it a million times. The sign blends unless you are looking for it. The pork tacos are the best I have ever had. They BBQ there outside the building. The meat market area is the best in town. The marinated chicken breast cooked to be so tender. Prepped meats ready to make your meal at home time saving, great value. I am excited to try more meals on the restaurant side.

Beware of their specials printed on the white paper with the black ink. Supposedly they're only good that day it's posted on Facebook, but nowhere does it say or explain that, very confusing.

I Went here for the meat market! Had some very nice cuts and a good amount of prime quality meat. I bought 4 slabs of baby back ribs and they were very good quality and great for smoking. Had a large variety of ribeye choices, different aging processes and qualities! I will be returning for sure!
