My husband and I were there on Saturday 3/23. Our server's name was Madelyn. She was wonderful. I had the catfish filet dinner with slaw and fries. It was very good. My husband had the Philly CheeseSteak sandwich, which was not so great. He said that the meat was burned and dry. There were no peppers or anything else that would make someone think it was a Philly sandwich. I told him he should have said something, but he doesn't like to cause problems. So, if you go, don't order that particular sandwich.

Cold Beer ?Thursday 1/2 chicken deal is very good.2 half chickens, 2 sides each, 2 large beers $30. Very reasonable and very good.12/15/22 $34 today, still very good11/16/23 $34 today 1 beer. Long wait for the special.12/7/23 Invited a couple to join us, they had never been to the Silverbell. Arrived at 430 ordered the Chicken Dinner for 4. received our meals at 4:54. Fantastic as always!!2 1/2 Chicken dinners, 2 large mugs of draft$36 can't beat that anywhere. Thank you!!

Food is always consistent and good. Like everywhere else nowadays, the service is sometimes a little slow. I assume due to staff shortages. We usually eat their Family Style and bring an unbaked pizza home for later use. Their Onion Rings are great! Homemade they are. Not a fancy place, just small town homecooking! Great Place! UPDATE: I suppose we are going to have to quit going to Silver Bell. They keep it so cool in there that the last 3 times we have eaten there my Wife comes down with a bad cold the next day. I suggest wearing a sweatshirt or a jacket if you're eating there.

Had an issue with my debit card being tagged for an extra $5.00 called to talk to Sean about it and he told the employee that answered the phone to get my name and # and he would call me back...that was on Nov. 8th I think 6 days is plenty of time to return a call...My advice to anyone paying with a card check your receipt...I'm sorry you do business like that...

The 4 of us went for lunch Thursday...so good!! Between the fried chicken, chicken livers and gizzards and family style...if you left hungry ..it was your own fault. There was only one server and she took good care of all of the customers. And we left with our leftovers including slaw and vegetables...it was a great lunch!!!

Got there at 2:30 p.m. and when we walked in bartender said it was owner's birthday and he had decided to close at 3:00 p.m. We just drove 2 hours to get there!! NEVER AGAIN!!

Outstanding food; no doubt about that! This is the best execution of country cooking I’ve ever had; bar none. The dining room has a cute collection of memorabilia and vintage knickknacks and the menu artwork is very cute, which lends to the charm. Unfortunately, there is no music in the dining room nor the capacity for it, so the atmosphere was difficult for us. There was an incessantly annoying customer two booths over during our visit that music would have helped us to drown out. Service was good. If you’re up for the drive it’s a great place for some outstanding country cooking!

We met friends there on a Friday for dinner. We were able to be seated right away. The beer is ice cold which was a great start to go with the sampler platter of breaded mushrooms, cauliflower, and onion rings. The sampler was wonderful. The onion rings were seasoned well too. We had fried chicken and side dishes for dinner. It was perfect. The chicken was crispy and seasoned perfectly. The green beans had a great bacon/smoke flavor that we all enjoyed. I had German fries that were also great! The portions were plentiful and we were able to take fried chicken home to our son.
