I honestly can't leave a bad review here because I grew up eating here and there food may not be the best but for the price you can't beat it and the service is good sometimes slow and the staff is always friendly and will get to know what you like if you come there a lot I really like it tbh its a nice cozy restaurant. Overall all I recommend eating there.

We were visiting from the Northern Virginia area to see our son in college and have always wanted to eat here. (One of our son's name is Richard). The interior is like taking a step back in time but in a good way. It is clean and well maintained. The server "June Bug" was enthusiastic and gave great advice on what to order. Our son got the chicken tenders and mashed potatoes, my husband got the country fried steak and I got the fish with mashed potatoes and green beans. All the food was excellent and we enjoyed the meal. We took the pecan pie to go which was good. For good home cooking definitely a winner!

A warm and comfortable atmosphere with really good good and waitresses, cooks and register person.Dollie did an amazing job even better than any other server I've ever had who worked multiple shifts in a row!!! She deserves a raise!! She was polite, attentive and it was like she had an instinct of when to check on it so it wasn't awkward..lol..she really is amazing and u pray I got her name right???

There is not a better place - food is always good and their prices incredibly reasonable. Good service. Its a simple menu but enough choices for most. Soups are A+

Is standard fare for a Richard s restaurant. The waitress was fast with service. Eggs toast was good. Hot coffee. Took home a piece of Texas sheet cake. It was awesome.
