I had the tilapia sandwich with fries. Both were very good and generous portions. Owner stopped by table to make sure all was good. They are working to update the place and I hope brighten the place up. Food is always way above normal bar food. One of our go-to places and you can't beat the BPT!

Recently renamed to Patsy's Pub and undergoing some remodeling. Currently a non-smoking bar and hopefully it stays that way. Nice place with darts, pool tables, and Golden Tee. I was in on a Sunday afternoon and it was pretty dead. Bartender named Mel was friendly enough and took good care of me. Had the pork tenderloin sandwich with tots and was very pleased.

Came in at 10pm on a Wednesday night. There seemed to be just one bartender and one server. After seating ourselves (which we assumed was what we were supposed to do...no sign, no greeting...) right next to the bar in the heart of the restaurant, we waited for a few minutes before the bartender (who was very kind and great) came over to get our drink order. She said our server would be right over. 15 minutes later, we decided to ask the bartender for our checks and go somewhere else. She went up and told a girl who had been socializing at the bar for at least the previous 10 minutes that we wanted to cash out. It was then we realized she was the one server. She then came over and acted very disgruntled that we were wanting our checks and then, as we were leaving, stared us down as we walked out the door, as if we had done a single thing wrong, other than expecting her to actually do her job instead of socializing with her regulars.

Unfortunately this place has gone downhill since their regular staff left due to drama with new hires. Positives: Good food, darts, pool, smoking area, karaoke DJ is awesome, cheap drinks, touch tunes. Negatives: Unprofessional staff, long wait times for service. I hope they resolve these issues!

We wanted to try this place out shortly after moving to Westfield because it’s one of the “local pubs.” It serves typical bar food. We ordered the fried pickles and a couple of beers. Good enough. However, the bartender/server was less than thrilled to be serving us. Not sure if it was because we clearly weren’t regulars or because she simply doesn’t enjoy her job. She seemed annoyed that we were even there. Either way, we probably won’t be visiting again. We kind of got a regulars-only vibe. Good luck becoming one. Try The Mill Tavern instead. Better vibe, service, and food.Parking: Shared strip mall parking

We went to order a couple dinners last week .. food has always been good.. but the front of house help was the rudest and not sure what she was on.. but couldn't (repeatedly) get an order correct.. and ended up paying $70 for three tenderloins.. which the bartender said either pay or get out. This was after she told me it was $50.65But when I went to pay it jumped $20 .. and she actually threw my debit card at me after she ran it thru.. I know it's hard to get help these days but I sent the owner/manager a fb text and no response after a week. So I think the problem is more than the help. Not sure what happened to this place but not giving another chance.. too many other choices in the area .. and once a great place but not anymore!!

This was a great place with awesome food. Only issue was additional staff didn't arrive on time, so initial service was delayed. However, I would highly recommend this place as the food was fantastic and our server was great and very apologetic for the delay. Club sandwich is the best around!

I recently visited Carey Tavern with some friends, and unfortunately, our experience was less than pleasant. While the bouncer was friendly and checked our ID’s without any issues, the bartender, who was also the manager, was rude, unprofessional, and drunk.I handed over my passport, which acted as my ID, which was issued a few years prior and had a picture of me with long hair. The bartender/manager, who was visibly intoxicated, refused to accept it, claiming that the picture looked nothing like me and accusing me of using a fake government passport. Despite my explanations and the various of other ID’s and pictures I showed her, she continued to be dismissive and made us feel unwelcome. My friends and I were shocked by the bartender's behavior, and it became apparent that she was not fit to be serving customers. We left the bar shortly after arriving, feeling disappointed and humiliated by the experience. It's unacceptable for a manager and bartender to behave in such an unprofessional manner, especially when they are drunk on the job. I would not recommend Carey Tavern based on my experience, and I hope that the management takes swift action to address this issue and ensure that it doesn't happen again in the future.

I just got an email from capital one saying my card was not only charged 46$ but also whoever charged my card left themselves a fifteen dollar tip.... when I never BOUGHT not one drink or any food ! Because me and my gf used HER card! And yes they were both charged hers more then mine "obviously she bought drinks" and Yes they asked for both cards to start a tab when we sat at the bar? Never again.! Pretty sure that's fraud because you decided to leave yourself a tip without my ok. Fyi if I were to tip , I'd be cash an cash only so someone's gonna be in hot water soon
