We called in advance. We were told we could be seated as long as we came before 9:30pm. We arrived before 9:30 pm and when we arrived an imbusil at the counter made a big deal about serving and made the ignorant comment about why do "people" come so late. Terrible reception of someone coming to spen money at your institution. We came when we could. You could've told us you couldn't accommodate. Rude. Would not reccommend.Update: Regardless of the response provided everything I said was the story. We were willing to order quickly until the ignorant comment of the man at the counter. Period. He was rude. The response further proves the condescending nature of the staff member.

First time here with a party of five. Fantastic food, sushi and drinks were great. Loved the pineapple mojito and the Atlantic Salmon roll. We will be back.
I would not recommend this place.Rice in the rolls was extremely overcooked. The rolls themselves are rather bland with unpleasant texture. To justify for this they make rolls larger than other establishments.The appetizers weren’t great either. Lobster Rangoon had only crab mix in it.Tempura Shrimp was not properly breaded and overcooked. Again compromising the texture and taste.I would have a better experience lighting $80 on fire rather than eating here.

Drive to Indiana for my son’s soccer game, found this place to eat some Asian food. Ordered chicken hibachi and mixed bento box. To be honest, the food is not authentic and not very tasteful. We ate like 5 minutes after 30 minutes waiting. I was wondering why this restaurant has some many guests. If you are Asian guys, try to avoid this place.

Nori Japanese Steakhouse offers hibachi and sushi at a reasonable price with a great staff. I've noticed some area Japanese hibachi restaurants offer hibachi, that is cooked in the kitchen and brought out to your table after its been prepared. Other area Japanese hibachi restaurants don't offer sushi, but Nori had everything we were looking for. I believe there are 4 or 5 hibachi tables spread throughout this medium sized restaurant in a strip mall. The staff were very accommodating as we didn't have a reservation but were sat right away. There is also a bar in the middle which offers a good unobstructed view of the hibachi. The chef for our hibachi experience was the best. He was funny, knowledgeable, and accommodating and would definitely be a reason I will be returning. Even if Nori is a little out of your way, it's absolutely worth visiting.
