This place is really super special from the entrance to the end, the guy who served us the food and the place ♥️ they have a super special sauce that has the squid that he brought us when our grandmother made us a sauce similar to that, many thanks to the owners

This is a small restaurant with excellent service and food. The atmosphere reminds me of the smaller hidden gems in Chicago. Reservations are recommended. We had the chicken piccata and lasagna ama both were excellent. If you love capers like I do, this is the place for you. Then I had lemon cake for dessert and it was sublime. The staff is knowledgeable and attentive.

I’m wondering if this restaurant has a new chef. I have eaten here for a long time, always looking forward to a delicious meal. Not so this past week! I ordered what I usual get, and it was awful. I even had to send one dish back to the kitchen, something I have NEVER done in my life. The one exception to this memorably bad meal was dessert. The lemon cake was delicious.The restaurant was not at all crowded the evening I was there. Plenty of available tables. I wonder if this is a commentary on how much this restaurant has slipped.

It's was an OK experience. This is likely the norm because when the server asked how is the food and we said, "it's ok." She didn't question at all.The food was very bland. Not bad so much just really devoid of salt and flavor.

If you can't go to Florence or Rome for dinner, this is the best you can get. That's probably not accurate because the food is as good as you get in a nice restaurant in Italy. I would recommend reservations. They do get busy in the evening. We were lucky to get a table without reservations at 5:30pm. Any later and we would be out of luck. It is fine dining in atmosphere, service and food. It is really a place to dress up a little, but several diners did not. Great place for a date night. Not too many tables so it doesn't get too loud and you can talk. Well done to the proprietors. I lived in Italy for three years and recognize the real deal.

We found this delightful Italian restaurant during our recent little daytrip to this area. It was a very snazzy looking restaurant that had a pretty extensive Italian menu. They gave us some complimentary bread which was delicious and for an appetizer we got one of their big ole meatballs (they call it Patsy's Meatball) It was a basic big meatball and had marinara sauce and parm. Very good, no frills meatball. Great flavour in the meat as well as the sauce. For my main course I got their daily special which was a Seafood Four Cheese Ravioli. It had a white sauce similar to Alfredo but a little different. They had both crab and shrimp on top while the ravioli shells were stuffed with all sorts of cheese. Really, really good plate here that I highly recommend for seafood lovers and pasta lovers alike. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her dish as well. The service was excellent and restaurant looked really good. I can't wait to check this place out again next time we're around here. A+
