Portions are so small. Food is ok but wildly overpriced for what it is. I ordered a fish sandwich but got a thin, greasy filet and two dried up honey biscuits so...no sandwich. We've ordered serval times since they first opened but quality has consistently gotten worse. This will be the last time. Has potential but they need to work on the value of their product.

Good chicken. Bland Mac and cheese. Mashed potatoes and gravy were similar tasting to KFC. Was shorted a chicken strip and received a thigh instead of a leg. They were probably short staffed so we didn't mind the extra 20 minutes for our food. Nice and pleasant staff.

Great food most of the time.. Check your food before you leave. Sometimes looks like you get bottom of the bag food... a lot of crunchies or bottom of the fryer... it also depends upon who's cooking. If the owners cooking you're good beautiful food great taste if anybody else is cooking watch food

I was hungry for chicken so I drove 32 minutes to this location try a combo one and three.I have to say in all honesty I was 100% let down. There’s no flavor it’s just breading a little salt some pepper even a dusting of cayenne pepper would make this really good but it has nothing

We ordered out for the office. The chicken was fair. I think a few weren't completely done. The so called LARGE sides are anything but large. The gizzards were so done they were like eating jaw breakers and the livers were about the same. I would stick to KFC. Probably won't eat here ever again. I read all these reviews and I think I got the opposite of everyone else!

Hands down best fried chicken livers I've ever had! Will definitely be back here many many times! I'm looking forward to trying more of what they have to offer. Don't judge a book by its cover. I promise you'll be missing out.

Tiny place tucked in with a rarely open donut shop - pretty cute little place. If i hadn't been looking for it, i would have missed it. I heard people raving about it. The fried chicken was good, but I probably won't drive all that way to get it. If I'm in the area, though, that's a different story. The fried mushrooms are great, too, but have a kick. Livers were okay, not anything special. We did have to wait, but that was okay with us, because we were driving another 20 minutes to get it home, so it was perfect. In short, if you're in the area, make the effort to stop in.

I spent over 50 dollars for their combo with 8 tenders and 8 pieces of chicken. It was so dissapointing. We couldn't even eat the chicken. Ot was old or overcooked, so dry I almost choked. The 2 sides were enougj for msybe 2 people. And I won't be recommending them anymore. They weren't busy and the man who took my order said it would be fresh. It so was nit. Had to go somewhere else to get dinner for my grandkids.

I recently read a review on Sunny's raving that the fried chicken was possibly the best he had tried. Of course that tempted me to try them out. I decided to try the tenders and chose fried okra for my side. I found the tenders were really good with the spices just right on the breading. They were decent sized tenders. I also enjoyed the fried okra something that I haven't had for a very long time. The value was good - actually similar to Chick Fil A but the amount and taste of the tenders were superior at Sunny's. It's a bit difficult to pull out of the lot with traffic but manageable. I was the only one in the restaurant at the time but it was around 4:00 - a bit of an odd hour.

Simply the most amazing chicken. The dining area is not the most attractive, but let me tell you, they make fried chicken that is simply the best I've had. Admittedly, I grew up in Chicagoland. Not exactly the fried chicken capital of the world. But, I've tried a LOT of different places. No frills, good prices, and hands down best chicken. Not a fan of their biscuits though, and their fries are nothing to get terribly excited about, but their mushrooms are amazing, on the other hand.Reasonably priced and delicious fried chicken. That's what I'd go there for.

Stopped in for a quick bite on my way to Indy from South Bend. I was looking for something my picky 4 year old would eat. She LOVED the Mac N Cheese. I got the liver and that alone was worth the 5 stars! They had some good music playing causing my daughter to dance the whole time we were waiting for our order. The food was delicious and hot! The service was great and I could feel the smile from the team. I will definitely be looking forward to my opportunity to eat here again!

MUST TRY!!Ordered the #1 combo today for lunch (3 tenders, Cole slaw & an extra side of mashed potatoes & gravy) and it came with the cutest little biscuit. This was THE BEST chicken I've ever had. It was tender, not tough or stringy. The batter was just enough & very flaky. Not that hard as a rock batter that some places have. Definitely give this place a try. It's amazing!

I thought the lady in front, not sure if owner, was kinda rude. Was my first time there. I asked for white meat and she wouldn't answer me when i asked if it would be dark or white,, thought that was weird.. I asked for a BBQ sauce since I didn't see any in bag and she wanted to charge me. I had already paid with my card and just said forget it then. She then gave one to me eventually. How do you run a chicken restaurant and not provide BBQ sauce. Thats like ordering a cheeseburger and having to pay extra to have ketchup or mustard. Get outta here. Chicken was dried up. Was 2pm so a late lunch so wondering if I got the noon rush leftovers. Won't be going back.
