Haven't tried the food here but I love the atmosphere and they have a good selection of beers and ciders. There are lots of board games too and trivia is always a good time here, albeit crowded.

Cool concept and nice people but the food is not good. We stopped in for a quick lunch on Saturday before work and the staff were very friendly however basically no one in the restaurant but a family of 5 and a guy at the bar. I should have know the food would not be good judging by the lack of customers on A Saturday. My wife ordered a sandwich and I had a flatbread...both were terrible. I hope they up the food quality to help drive more business...sad when a cool concept is overshadowed by bad food.

The staff here is phenomenal! They know how to make people feel welcome- from a big family with four rowdy kids to the loner reading a book alone - they make you feel welcome and seen. Great food, amazing beer and a huge selection of books, games, and fandom gifts like Pop figures and socks! :) One of my favorite places!

Great beers and friendly servers. The only downside to the place is the beat up seats and benches. Not very comfortable. Owners need to invest in upgrading the seating.

Good brews and a ton of books to choose from. Went on a weekday afternoon and was very quiet! Overall great place to hangout with friends.

We just moved to this area from California. Discovered Books and Brews and I LOVE IT! Bought several used books and had a great meal. We will be back!!

Great place for a unique beer and a place to hang.

I met some friends at Books & Brews Zionsville on a Friday night. It was semi-busy around 8pm, but not packed. Now, I don't drink alcohol and I have food allergies that make their menu less than ideal for me. I asked about kombucha (the Broad Ripple location used to have it) but the server seemed to be confused by me asking about it and told me they didn't have any. (The Broad Ripple location carried it before they closed.) They do carry soda, but I'm not a big fan so I opted for water. I do love the vibe, though! The books on the walls and Funko Pops make for a nice atmosphere. The bookish names of drinks is fun, too. They had karaoke that started about 10pm, which was low-key, fun, and a supportive environment. This location is a bit far for me to go to regularly, but I'd go back with friends. I'd just be sure to bring my water bottle and a snack or two if I'm going to be there awhile.

I fell in love with this place as soon as I walked in. The staff are super friendly, excellent service, great pricing, and at atmosphere that relaxing, unwinding, and enjoyable. They offer a variety of beers, drinks, and appetizers that are all priced fairly and the portions are good sizing too. This location hosts several different types of events and will even host private parties upon requests. This spot is definitely something to check out. You can review what's going on and upcoming event on their website. It's clean, seating is open and spaced out, and there is plenty of room to host a group of 40-50+ people.

Amazing brews with a very kid friendly environment! Cheese curds & pretzel appetizers hot, fresh, & delicious. Bonus points for Ben the server/bartender who is a true GEM!! Definitely will be back
