Love this place for diner style breakfast. Food is always solid and can eat in or get it to go. Have not been there other than breakfast, but the menu looks good.

Food was good, but wait staff was very green. Nice, but doesn't check back often enough. Also spilled syrup on our table on one of our parties drinks. Never came back to clean it.

Oh my...Flap Jacks was always a favorite...but it is now J&J Pancake House. (Receipt says "J&J Cookies and More LLC") Floors were clearly dirty, and it was the worst meal I remember ever having (except in jail). Omelet was not only not fluffy, but totally dried out and overcooked...the hasbrowns were the same...the toast was very chewy. I couldn't finish...paid and left. No one asked how it was or they would have gotten an earfull. I will never go back. I shouldn't have eaten what I did. It made me feel ill.

This isn't really Flap Jacks anymore, it is under new management and has a different name I can't remember. They get 5 stars because they are actually open when people want to eat breakfast. For some reason all of the other restaurants at this exit that serve breakfast food changed their hours (I presume because of COVID) and now they still don't open until 7:00 or 8:00.

A great meal for every taste. The children enjoyed their strawberry pancakes!

Now that this is "The Pancake House" the quality is in the toilet. You're better off going across the street to McDonald's. I ordered the chicken and waffles and the chicken is mystery meat at best. I should've taken it as a red flag when the chicken strips were all the same size and shape. EDIT: the server never came back to check on us, I asked if this could be removed from our bill. Who I assumed to be the owner asked how the food was when we were paying. I told her it was gross and over processed. She gave me an "ok." No one offered a resolution. We tipped and left.

So sad that flap jacks was sold. Nothing special about Pancake house.. burgers are cheap patties with a slice of American cheese. Breakfast is average. They did give me this nice tomato with a big black spot on it!

Terrible service by all the girls. Omg you give up 2 items to get 1 item and they say well it's extra so it will cost you. Then you look straight at them and they're talking behind your back to other employees. Very catty... I will be finding me a new place to eat.

Now J&J's pancake house. The interior is much nicer now with new seats, paint job, etc. We got a takeout order of pancakes and a skillet (hash browns, onions, peppers, ham, cheese). The eggs over the skillet were cooked perfectly (sunny side up) and there was lots of ham. Pancakes were really good too.

Absolutely terrible! I got the huevos rancheros which was two eggs over a puddle of tomato sauce for $8.75!! My sister had egg shells in her food. The waitress never came back to refill coffee or to clear anything, nothing! She just sat at the bar and socialized. All she did was take our order and she didn’t even know what was on the menu. NEVER coming back!

Busy breakfast place, seems like the local spot. Cracker Barrel is just down the road and I'd choose here over there. Had Sunrise Special = 1/2 order of biscuits and sausage gravy, eggs and bacon...added short stack of buttermilk pancakes. Gravy reminded me of mom's, biscuit was light and fluffy as were the pancakes. Asked for extra crispy (not burnt) bacon and got it right! Ate at the counter...young ladies were great, service was good, and food was what I hoped for! Will come back after!!
