We gathered for a birthday dinner for my husband’s 40th. The owners and servers were very welcoming and accommodating for our group and checked in frequently. This is going to become one of our frequented spots!!

Nice place, great service, meh food. Burritos were full of rice and bland, the guac had zero seasoning in it and 5 bucks for chips and salsa that tasted like store brand. Won't hurry back!

Went in right at dinner opening about 4:30, and was told we would need to be out by 6 for a party, understandably, ordered a burrito that was supposedly bbq chicken but there was no bbq on it at all and the rice in it was undercooked and cold, the service was just okay, felt rushed, disappointed of the quality of the food, felt as I could have gone to any other Tex Mex inspired fast food and gotten better quality.

Gave us a burrito full of rice for $17. See picture. Margarita tasted like salt water. No vegetarian options available. Waitress refused to accommodate to dietary restrictions. Kitchen got orders wrong multiple times. Save yourself time and money.

The food menu and cocktail menu have everything you could look for. Perfect location for a date night, or just a casual dinner. I’ve never had a bad experience here. The entire staff is extremely friendly and always has a smile of their

While the atmosphere is neat the rest was a bust. The food was so-so. The black bean burger was dry-it needed a sauce. The fries that came with it were really good though. The nachos I think were one of the better options. We wanted to get fish or shrimp tacos but they were all deep fried. The service was the worst part. The waitress never came around. We asked for more water and never saw her again. Never asked if we liked our food..never asked if we liked the drinks which one was undrinkable. It looked like a manager was helping out but he never came to our table. Disappointing for sure.Vegetarian options: Two options on the menu if the black bean burger was dry.

Cute place. Service wasn’t the best — our server didn’t come back to our table until about 30-40 min after our food arrived. We had a busser get us a water refill. The food was extremely bland. I had a taco salad and there was barely any lettuce but an excessive amount of unflavored ground beef.I’ve been eating at Condados Tacos recently so I could just tell the flavor was lacking by comparison. The Chipotle Mayo was pretty good, the jalapeño margarita was delicious! The strawberry margarita tasted watered down. Didn’t even feel a buzz after splitting a flight of margs (6oz x3) with my cousin. So idk. Think it’s cute but not great, not really worth the elevated prices.

They don't take reservations and when cool outside there is no comfortable place. The food is very good and the portions are huge.

Before getting into details of my review, I want to mention that, even if it's addressed somewhere online, there is a $1.50 price difference per taco between the online menu and the menus in the restaurant. Additionally, chips and salsa aren't free (not a big deal to us, but it would have been nice if it was included with meals). At some places, the staff members enhance the experience. At Salty Cowboy, the staff members simply exist. The hostess wasn't at the front when we arrived. She came around minutes later, and apparently she had asked how many way before getting to the front. I greeted her, and she just repeated her question impatiently. Our waiter was okay - just not really involved or almost detached. The table we were sat at had old food in the gaps between the slats covering/making the tabletop. The margaritas were mellow, which I didn't mind. My partner didn't care for the taste of what we got, though. The fish tacos (Pink Taco and Coco Colada) were good and reasonably balanced... Some genuine spice/heat would have improved things... Even some hot sauce on the table would have provided some opportunity to add heat. The chicken tacos my boyfriend chose were both "okay." All in all, we paid about $57 for small margaritas and a couple tacos each. This restaurant is not a place to go for an inexpensive, light meal. Perhaps the price point works for others without issue in the area, but I don't know that we'll make a point to return. Thanks for reading my review. Have a great day!
