I made the not so fun drive from Ohmaha to Scottsdale. The biggest highlight, okay the only highlight was our stop at Daylight Donuts. The coffee was fresh and very good but the donuts... They were the best I have had in a very long time. I am still craving another apple fritter and jelly donut, which had blueberry compote in it! If you are in Dodge City or passing through, this is a must!
Stopped here early morning with my husband. We aren't from here so he asked what do you have as there's always a line and we're curious. The lady at the window was very nice in explaining they have donuts, cake, other pastries and Kolache which my husband was excited about. We got a box of glazed donuts with different frostings and a jalapeño Kolache. Both were really good! I recommend Daylight Donuts if your going to get some pastries.

Biscuits and gravy are the bomb! The small (1 biscuit with a generous serving of gravy) came in a hamburger-sized clamshell and felt like a decently substantial breakfast.Basic donut shop atmosphere. Very clean. Nice folks. Go early!
