“What a gem! The building is small (and cute!) with two tables and a few counter seats, but we were lucky to be able to dine in. There even a few old photos of the building from back in the day which is pretty awesome. The girl at the register was super friendly, asked if it was our first visit, then made sure we knew we were gonna be in for a treat. She made recommendations to have a burger, covered the daily special (catfish), and alerted us to their homemade onion rings, tartar sauce, ranch, and cherry limeade… so we ordered everything she suggested! The cheeseburger was old school delicious and as good as homemade, the onion rings were perfectly golden, light but also crunchy and killer good… as good as I’ve had. The catfish came with hand cut shoestring fries and cheesy corn-mac — all tasty! The cherry limeade was a perfect mixture of sweet and tart — definitely not straight from the fountain! The shining star of our meal was the catfish… large, flaky, crispy, perfectly seasoned fillets. We were blown away by how good a burger shop made catfish. Even after taking home a fillet, my partner commented it was some of the best catfish he’s had… high praise coming from a catfish connoisseur. They have other menu item as and pie, but we were too stuffed… hopefully next time! We could not have had a better experience from the friendliness to the food… We’ll be back!“
