the waiter assumed I was giving him a 30% tip or something like that and took the money off my card without my permission thinking I wouldn’t know and thought he was gonna get a second tip dude basically tried doubling dipping and I went back to check my card and more money was taken off of it from the restaurant I don’t like that at all and it just rubs me the wrong way

We had a crew of seven guys who got delayed at a job site and walked in the door fifteen minutes before closing time. We asked if it was possible to be served so late, and they were told to come on in. We received friendly service, got a tasty meal, and we really appreciate the employees out front and in the kitchen for being so willing to take good care of us right at closing time. Thank you!

the 2 for $25 is a great deal - although the portions were a little on the small side. the bartender was friendly, prompt and efficient. the salad was fresh, the mashed potatoes were very good. the steak was about what you'd expect from applebee's in terms of not being very high quality meat, but it was cooked perfectly, had a good flavor, and was served truly, sizzling hot! that part was fantastic and unexpected. every restaurant should imitate that aspect. this visit made me rethink applebee's. i will definitely go again.

Food was pretty good. I love their flavored iced teas. Restaurant felt pretty clean and was nicely decorated for the holidays. Our server was fantastic!

It was frustrating eating here. We waited awhile before we were served, then the waitress took our order, but never came back to our table till she was ready to give us our check. Meanwhile, other staff members had to bring our drinks, servingware, and food. Everytime a staff member brought us items, only after we asked multiple times, it was someone different. Our waitress was having a mental breakdown and screaming at the manager, after yelling at other staff members about why she was mad at the manager. The waitress was atleast 6 feet tall. It was like the staff members were afraid of her. Worse service, no, worse restaurant experience in my life! She needs fired! Will never be back. The staff should never be treated by a waitress like she did. Oh and very distasteful steak.

Why is it that when you have a party of 7, the Applebee's in Emporia will always push us into the round booth with one chair outside of it? I mean, we, as a family, are not small people. Three of the group are over 6 foot tall. And we are to SQUEEZE into such a spot. But if you ask for another spot, they say it'll be a wait (even though they may have had a dozen or two other guests[tables sat]).
