Great place to have fun for the entire family. Friendly staff and great food!

We spent $30+ for an hour of bowling and snacks and spent over 15 minutes waiting for the lane to be reset. It was lane 23 and the guy said it didn't happen very often. It was a damper on the night, but i wanna give it another try some other night.

They were hosting a public schools bowling match/tournament. They were charging a rather large entry fee. Now I don't begrudge them the ability to charge an entry fee as many schools do this as well but whom ever was on the door needs to understand (bowling alley staff or school official not sure which) that a school bus driver whom needs to communicatewith the coach shouldn't have to pay almost 15 (1 adult and the drivers child school wasnt in session that day for my son) to just to have a 3-5 min discussion with the coach about when they would need me to be ready. In my 7 years as a school driver ive never had to pay for the ability to enter with my team. As far as lanes comparitive to others I've seen fairly average not alot of seating for a spectators that pay to watch. Restroom facilities were less than desirable. Arcade appeared interesting but fairly underwhelming. In fairness I might/probably have missed some of it as I didn't stay long.Edit: Response to reply.I offered my to show ID, was wearing school attire that stated transportation and stated I was a driver I got "if you want to stay you gotta pay" as far as discussing it further I will respectfully decline due to that fact of in 7 years I have only been there once and if a trip comes up with you alley again I will just turn it down

Glad we have this for the kids to do in Emporia. The arcade is fun too.

Love Flint Hills Lanes and the staff!

I’d recommend not wasting your time or money here. Staff is relatively unwilling to do their job for the most part, and every time I’ve been there have been issues with the lane I was on, and when i brought it to the staff they essentially said there was nothing they could do. Also a similar thing happened to me as another guy who left a review, and my ball got very messed up from the lanes. Also, the entire atmosphere is just completely outdated, from the computer system to the carpet on the walls. It looks like it hasnt been cleaned probably ever.

The kids and I had a blast playing the arcade games. We won stuffed animals, candy and some other stuff from a crane game. Pretty nice place overall but the food wasn't very good. We order 4 of the exact same thing and the portions were different on all 4 of them and 2 we're heavily overcooked. But, again, it's was a good time overall.

It definitely doesn't look amazing but it's bowling. Basic bowling. Nothing broke down and everything worked. The facilities were clean and organized. The employees were really nice and helpful. It's outdated a bit yes, but they have everything in working order.

Bad service. We were left waiting for balls that would get stuck and then our time ran out and we didn't even get to finish 2 games.

Gave one star because 0 was not a option. Staff was rude with no sense of humor. To top it off lanes were dry as a pepper fart. No oil anywhere on lanes. The lanes were the dirtiest I have ever seen. There was trash on the floor and it was a dirty environment all around. I attached pictures of my ball below for reference.

Older property that could use a little TLC, but the sign on the door said new owners, so I am sure that is in the works. Friendly and helpful workers, nice snack bar, lanes in good working order. My group had a fun time!

We went bowling on Halloween. We were under the impression that there would be social distancing since we didn’t have to wear a mask once we arrived at our lane. When we arrived the employees were not wearing their mask, two had them on but around their chin and one didn’t even have one in sight. We payed, for our shoes and realized they had put us directly next to a huge group of people when the whole entire bowling alley was empty. As a group we realized what happened and nicely went up there and expressed that we don’t feel safe being that close to a group of strangers not wearing mask. We politely asked if we could move to the other side of the building (once again, it was just our small group and the other group who was originally there). The girl rudely told us (all while wearing no mask) that the lanes are just gonna fill up anyway so there’s no point. Her temper began to grow, we were very uncomfortable and should’ve asked for our money back immediately. She stormed off throwing a fit while the other girl moved us one lane down from the other group. We start bowling and within minutes they had purposefully put another group right in between us. We bowled one game and left because every time we turned around, the girl was still complains about us and would be staring at us. When we left, there was three grouped there all placed next to each other. I understand everybody can have their own opinions on mask, but when we simply ask to be moved a few lanes down where nobody is at, that should be respected so we felt safe. They had terrible customer service the whole time we were there, we definitely will not be going back to this bowling alley after this experience and being treated so poorly by a teenage girl.

I called about a month a head to get details for having my Christmas party here. Originally I told the manager that I spoke with that there would be around 30 to 35 people attending. I was told that I would only be charged the $14 a person for the 2 hours that we were there for the people that were bowling. Then the day before my event I received a call asking for a confirmation that I was still doing my party and for a head count on how many would be attending. I told him the head count. There was no question of how many of the 25 would be actually bowling nor was there an explanation of if I reserved for 25 people and only 12 people bowled that i was still going to be charged for 25 people bowling. I had a total of 18 people attend the party and 12 of the 18 actually bowled but I was still charged for 25 people bowling. When I called the manager and I told him that I was miss informed on how I was going to be charged all he said was he was sorry that I wasn't explained on how that worked properly but I still was stuck paying for an amount of people not only were not in attendance but for an amount that didn't even bowl. Being in retail this is not how you treat people, this is just taking advantage of a small business that was just trying to give her employees some fun for their hard work.

A couple of weeks ago Dalton assessed/serviced an issue with the score input board and handled it great!!! Along with the things that have turned around for the better here, from Management to customer service. They're doing a fantastic job; plenty of lanes, the new screens, food, facelift, people having a great time shows and the cleanliness as well!! Thank you Mark and great job guys, keep up the amazing work!! Looking forward to Regional Bowling this upcoming Saturday!!! Let's get ready to go Bowl!!!! ?
