Found this place online so we decided to pop in and try out some sushi. My dad was with us and he got hibachi so we had a well rounded experience. Our server was very nice and took care of us well but she did lack some knowledge on the food and drinks.First off, big disclaimer here! They do NOT serve any alcohol. Saki was a big miss as I love to pair saki with my sushi. We were told you can BYOB however.The food was tasty! The sushi rolls (pics attached) had a good presentation and the flavor was solid. The hibachi looked good too and the review from my dad was similar to our sushi - it's good, not great. My mom also had a bowl of curry and it came with 5 levels of hot, so having the choice to pick your level of spice was a great feature. Also, the bowl of curry was HUGE so you get fed well, I can promise you that :)Nothing bad to say really, it's Emporia sushi, so don't come in thinking it's high bar. But the staff is very nice and the sushi and hibachi are good so you'll have a good night out.

First. My food was good. The portions were fair and it was one of the more spicy General's I've had. That said, wife had a hair in her hibachi chicken and shrimp. Bathroom was a mess and the cook had questionable cooking practices which is unfortunate because it's in front of everyone!

2 Adults 1 child. Server didn’t seem to know anything about the menu and instead of finding out she just gave us half as$ answers. Ordered a kids meal with drinks and it came out 30 minutes later with our food. Pretty disappointed. Only grace was the food is really good.

Everything is Wonderful!!! My husband always gets something beef, my brother-in-law loves their sushi and I am Bento Box!Vegetarian options: Japanese offers vegetables cooked so the individual flavors are notable. Not a mush. Tempura is so delicate.Parking: They have a wide store front with lots right there. Several stores in the shopping center and center lot parking. Well placed so not many steps.Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of table space.
What a wonderful dinner. Had the rainbow roll, it was perfect. The crab salad here is the best. Great food and amazing service. Great little gem of the city.

I ordered carry-out during today’s lunch service: crab salad, KBBQ beef short rib. Unfortunately, the small side of kimchi had clearly gone bad, so I set that aside. Then, I found that roughly 70% of each beef slice was fat; what little meat I could separate was like a thicker version of Jack Link’s teriyaki beef jerky. The avocado in the crab salad was also underripe.I’ve gotten takeout from Ichiban a handful of times before without any problem. I’m not sure what went wrong today, but wow did it go wrong.

Waited over 45 min to get cold food and we had hibachi. Ordered filet minion and shrimp and we literally got 4 small pieces of steak and 4 shrimp.

Went there and the service was terrible. Honestly should have just left because we were completely ignored for the first twenty minutes after we were sat. We finally got our order in after thirty minutes and then we sat for another hour and our order was completely wrong and we still hadn't got our drinks. We tried our hardest to be patient and explain that we were missing appetizers, drinks, and other aspects of our meal but our server would just giggle and walk away. We finally asked for a manager and then instead of one coming to us we had to get up and search one down. He told us he thought he was making our drinks and when we told him we weren't interested at this point he told us that he had already made them. He refused to give us any discount after explaining the situation multiple times. It was extremely disappointing and I will never be returning.
