We ate out in Fort Scott for two days and this was definitely the best place! Their burgers were Angus beef and piping hot with veggies. Their twirly fries and onion rings were crispy and terrific. The service was helpful and cheery. The atmosphere was fun (diner stools, booths and tables- loved the selection) and had great music! My only suggestion is to check the seat in your booth seat nearest the diner stools ?. If you are in Fort Scott be sure to check this place out. ???

Best old time burger with grilled onions and hand cut Susie's out there. Family owned for years.
I received the worst food I've ever experienced in this tiny dinner where I've had good experiences before. But the absolute worst was the bratty, snarky, teenage waitress. I overheard her horrible comments and the way she mocked me and my fiance. We paid and tipped her well anyway. Bless her heart.

The breakfast ? was phenomenal. Eggs your own way! Hashbrowns. Biscuits all the stuff. Cinnamon Rolls yes!Parking: Downtown across from the Historic Fort. Cute diner with great food! Servers are nice. Ask for Angel.

I called for carry out. I had to repeat my order to the young girl on the phone. When I picked up my order, she took my payment, did a couple of things and walked away around the counter to work on something else. Then she realized she didn’t give me my food and came back around and picked up the sack which was hidden behind the counter and gave it to me. She was friendly which is why I gave it four stars. I got a cheeseburger and Susie Q’s and enjoyed both. Susie Q’s were completely soggy but likely because they were in a closed sack. I would eat here again.
Went in for dinner and had the special. It was a really nice chicken fried steak with potatoes and vegetables. Rally nice home cooking at a very reasonable price.

Food tastes good but I don't think that they are honest about burger size. Wife and I went in and we both ordered the jumbo burger. Menu says 4.5 ounces, I am generous in saying they were maybe 2 ounces of ground beef. We mentioned it to the waitress, and ND she asked the chef to make us new ones. Very disappointed! It's a shame because we have always enjoyed eating there. Not anymore.
Ordered a cheeseburger with bacon and curly q's. Husband order fried chicken with loaded baked potato. Everything was delicious and the staff was super friendly and nice. Hometown atmosphere. 100% recommended this place.
