They have the sweetest older gentleman working the front. Might be the owner. The bread is AMAZING. I’m only visiting town, but will make sure to stop in again before I leave. 10/10 would recommend.

This is my favorite bakery in town. The gentleman that runs this place is very friendly. The selection of bread is good, but not overwhelming. The difference between this and other bakeries, is the taste. You can tell he loves what he does, not only in the delectable taste of his bread, but on the attention to detail. I don't eat bread often, but when I do, It's from la espiga.

Was craving some dessert on my way home from dinner and randomly came across this place because it was open past 8pm! So happy I did! This will be my new local bakery, so many varieties of pastries. Don't judge a book by it's cover fits here because looks are deceiving and I basically passed this place up since their shop is so small and dimly lit right next to a brightly lit smoke shop my faves are the honey pastries, cheese pie and sugar cookies that taste like almond cookies

Stopped in to pick up something to take to a Cinco de Mayo gathering...there were many, many choices. I went with the large Flan, it was the size of a large cheesecake. I got the flan because it is one of my favorite desserts and I have to say, this is the best one that I've ever had. The texture was just right, smooth and delicate with the right amount of sweetness (not too much). You can't beat the price of $10.00!! They have a slightly smaller one for $8.00 (I think that was the price). This shop is really small, don't be put off until you try something!!!

This little Mexican bakery has delicious treats and accommodates special orders. It is one of out favorite quick stops on Ford Road. My partner's favorite orejas are always fresh, crunchy and delicious. I love the crumbly pecan cookies. The store also has a good selection of cold jarritos and other drinks and treats. They also make cakes and take special orders.
