Sadly, we’d recommend to pass this local joint. Brisket arrived so pale it looked like pork and such steamed and watered down and dry beef flavor and not sure it really was brisket, might have been rump roast. Coleslaw was not homemade. Best thing there was fresh brewed iced tea. Nice folks serving and lots of locals there

Not sure our brisket was actually brisket — tasted more like a beef roast. The sides were better than the meat. Our waitress was very nice and the place was clean.

They have always been relatively good, but the last couple or 3 years Planks have really 'upped' Their game. They arent just bbq fare, but killer burgers, philly, and ribeye sandwich. My wife loves it, too!

I try to eat there as often as i can. I think ghat i got pull pork tacos instead of brisket as ordered. Meat....

Kansas BBQ at a reasonable price. I won’t critique one style over another. Had brisket , sausage, and pulled pork. All good. Sides were good enough but not my particular taste. Good service. Decent price. Unpretentious dining area. Clean. I’d go back.

Although planks is a small restaurant its very family friendly as well as fast enough for a lunch hour thier RIBS are better than Rib Crib and priced reasonable they cater too...I wasn't overwhelmed but not disappointed at allDine in or take out..
The food was good but the staff doesn't know what seasoning is in their sauce. Being some with an allergic reaction to a select seasoning the staff at Plank's BBQ simply would not say if the sauce used for their pork and beef had the select seasoning. So, instead of getting BBQ as I had planned, I had to order the chicken quesadilla. Not sure if people with food allergies should eat there.

If you want good BBQ without the gimmick this is your place, the meat is cooked fresh in house as they have their own packing facility and the Mac & Cheese is delicous.
