Lived in Kansas for a long time and I had no idea this place was here. I am glad I found it now. Live out of state and will definitely come back when we are in the area. We had the combo #2, two corn tacos, and a bean and cheese burrito. My wife is an ice snob and loved their ice! The staff was very friendly and the place was clean. Definitely a local favorite as the place was steadily busy the entire time we were there. Inside and out. For as busy as the were, the service was fast. The only complaint I had which is minor, was the food could have been a little warmer but, the food tasted great. I definitely recommend it. Also, the salsa bar was a nice addition and the jalapeños were tasty.If you are in the area you should go check this place out. Good food and great prices!Parking: Plenty of room to park.

Ordered large drinks the last two times I've ordered and have gotten mediums. If you don't have them take them off the menu. Also have been missing items the last four times I've ordered. So ridiculous. Once is understandable, but every time I've ordered? Ridiculous.

Great place to eat good Mexican food at a great price. I had the meat and bean tostada, which is hard to find, and it was so good. This was a much better option. They also have a fresh salsa bar.

They have changed tortillas since I stopped in Hays last. No longer thin and good. Queso was made out of different cheese, thicker and less flavor.

Terrible nasty food never in my life have I ever had a taco salad with just lettuce and refried beans only.
We are from way way far away. A coworker told us if we were to ever visit Hays Kansas we had to visit the Taco Shop. He was right..... the tacos were amazing. We visited May 2023
