“My wife and I arrived late into town. We found Boomers Grill going on closing time. We went in and noticed the atmosphere. Very welcoming. clean and comfortable. We asked the waitress if we could possibly get something to eat or if the kitchen was closed? She responded with a smile, gave us a menu, and said we could order whatever we wanted. The people were friendly, the staff was fantastic,..the food...well...just go try it!!! I wish we had a BOOMERS in my hometown. Thanks for making us feel welcome!!”

“Can't say enough about the quality of the beers. I've been a home brewer for over 20 years and know what it takes to produce the product they have. We sampled them all. I've been to countless breweries in many locations and this one doesn't take a backseat to any of them. Keep up the great work. The staff and location in Leavenworth is top notch. I can't wait to go and view the one in Holton.”

“This one is looking overdue as I visited in November 2022. But after driving more than 12 hours through the previous day into the morning the first thing I wanted was a cup of coffee, black as always and very smooth. To my surprise Hotspot also had some delicious biscuits and gravy and an amazing breakfast burrito. They definitely hit the spot and helped me along the rest of the 8 hour journey still ahead. Anytime I'm driving up highway 75 I know where to stop, at Hotspot.”

“If you’ve seen the reviews you’d be inclined to visit but before you do, here’s my thoughts.First up, the workers all appears to be underage and I mean very underage. It could be. Family owned restaurant but when you don’t see an adult the entire visit, you wonder. They were quiet and didn’t make any recommendations even when asked.The sesame chicken was pretty fresh. I didn’t think it was the best I’ve had but better than average for sure.The place is a whole in the wall but was clean.If you’re looking for a quick fix, this place will take care of it. If you’re looking for the best Chinese in or around Topeka… keep looking.”

“I was traveling with my 3 month old granddaughter and needed a place to feed her. The lobby was not open, but the manager, Sharon was kind enough to let us come in and sit while I fed her. I was extremely nervous about traveling alone with a baby, but this stop made the trip much easier. Sharon went out of her way to accommodate us. Thank you!!”

“The place itself is in serious need of updating and repairs, especially to drive through, parking lot, and outdoor lights. I still give 4 stars for employees always doing a good job, never had a problem. Also food quality itself is good as far as fast food goes.”
