“On the spur of a moment, my wife and I decided to drive to Hutchinson, KS for the weekend. Airport Steakhouse is kinda out of the way and not much to look at from the street view, so we were a bit hesitant to give this restaurant a try. We are both very glad we did. We enjoyed our dining experience immensely! Being that I've worked in the aircraft industry all my life, I really enjoyed the decor, very nice! The food was pretty good, my wife's steak was definitely better than my ribeye, so maybe I'll try the prime rib on our next visit. The service was impeccable though. Our server was Crystin, she made us felt like vip's! She definitely knows her craft. We highly recommend this little gem on the east side. The only drawback is that they charge extra if paying with a card. Luckily, we had enough cash to cover the bill. We'll definitely be back next time we visit Hutch.“
“Wonderful place for families to gather, staff are like family...indeed some ARE family, they're personable, unobtrusively watching out for customer needs. My only "beef": the Reuben sandwich should include Swiss cheese - instead I got melted nacho cheese food, yech! Still, I liked their chicken fried steak.Parking: Ample parking (on truck stop lot). Only thanksgiving fills up the parking.“
“Excellent diner experience. Great place to meet a friend for coffee. Excellent banter with the waiter. The sign says Best Pie in America and I won't argue too much. Our waiter brought an Apple Pie A La Mode drizzled in caramel goodness. Oh boy, I might need to do this again soon.“
