Small brewery with great, friendly staff (thank you Morgan). Simple decor with well stocked bar. Limited but excellent draft beer choices. Varied menu but we just had appetizers, which were pretty good. Cole, the brewer, was on site and shared the history of the place and even gave us a peak in back. Thank you!

Bring a pillow and blanket because your kids will nap waiting 45 minutes for your meal. They never discounted or comped anything. Half of the restaurant was closed off and the other half of the floor was half full and waiting just as long for food. Patio was empty but the door prop was busted so old ladies and children got cold.Food was decent but price was ok for the value. The steak sandwich was half covered with meat. The chips are made in house but they only cared about liquor sales. The server apologized once for the late food but my son slept halgway through the wait and meal it took so long. Will never go again and would not recommend.

My party stopped here for a late lunch as we were in town for a few days and love trying unique local establishments. We had the best experience here. First, our server was great, very attentive and upbeat. Good selection on the menu and had an extra burger menu the day we were there. Meal and drinks were both reasonable. The restaurant itself was very clean and nice/new looking. We were overall pleased with the value, the food, and exceptional service. Don't miss this gem in downtown Hutchinson.
This place is all flash. I’ve given this establishment a chance to redeem itself multiple times and I have been even more disappointed every time I go back. The service is terrible and I was not the least bit impressed with the food when I was actually served. I’d rather eat at home.

We are continuously disappointed with the quality of service here. We planned to go for lunch and seated ourselves as the sign in the entry directs us to. They were not busy, maybe five tables. The staff walked past our table a dozen times and did not acknowledge us at all. We waited for about 20 minutes with zero communication from any staff as they cleared tables surrounding us and served other tables so we chose to leave.In previous visits we have been disappointed with poor execution of the meals and incorrect orders being served.Each time we go back hoping for better service we are let down again and we will not be returning or recommending this establishment to anyone again.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere more than anything! Went the day after super bowl so it was dead, but I think it could be really fun in there on a busier night! The food I had was great! I don't know the name, but I got a burger with bacon jam and it was so delicious. The fries are great too. The other 2 people got something like BBQ Mac and cheese. They weren't as impressed, but they both said it was ok and ate it.

Salt City Brewing is a perfect addition to the Hutchinson downtown area. They offer a wide variety of brews, from light, hoppy, tart, brown, and dark. Never once did my glass go dry. I didn't have the chance to sample any of their food, but that just means I'll have to go back... and I will.
