“I was missing some of tastes from what I consider home today & decided to give Saiko a try. Since it was a new hibachi place to me, I went with the steak hibachi because if you can't get that right then I don't trust the rest of the menu. That said, I can't wait to work my way through their menu. The fried rice & steak tastes excellent & the portion size is huge, enough for lunch & supper without going hungry.”

“This little place was a really nice surprise as we drove through town looking for something to eat. Super surprised at the variety of seafood options and the staff was very helpful. Quiet little spot to go that's not over the top on expense.”

“Good food and fun atmosphere. Went on a Wednesday night and they were playing music bingo. It made for a fun environment and the Chicken Jack Club Sandwich I ordered was seasoned to perfection and was moist and flavorful. The bacon was tender and thick and paired nicely with the seasoned chicken and pepper jack cheese.”

“Adorable little cafe, never knew it was there, hidden in the corner but I found it. Ordered 3 crunchy beef tacos with a special order of onions, those onions set it off?, made it taste like street taco's!!!!!But the service by the cashier stunned me, she needs take a quick course in customer service. ”

“My father and I were looking for a place for dinner while out of town. The hotel next door recommended them as being one of the best Mexican places in the area. When we walked in the smell was fantastic. Service was very quick and attentive to our drinks at the table. The food was at an outstanding price and was delicious at the same time. I would recommend that people go there if looking for a good Mexican place in the area.”

“Im going five stars this time. The vegetable egg foo yung is dope. One of the best ive ever had. Drove an hour from Pittsburg yesterday just to get this. Plenty of veggies and the pancakes are thick and silky. I judge mexican restaurants on chili rellenos and carnitas and chine restaurants on egg foo yung and black bean sauce (which i have yet found in kansas). Great China knocks it out of the park. Best of all the owners are fantastic. Super warm and friendly. Not the last time i will make the mecca to Independence to dine”

“I love dining in at Dickeys they have good lunch specials a full bar on Thursday nights they have a live band. When you order it's served on a metal tray you get free ice cream and refils from the ice cream machine (only serves vanilla) and sodas from the lobby fountain station. The cups are yellow plastic cups which can be kept if you choose to keep them the food is most always fresh and delicious.Parking: It's located downtown so most the parking in front of the restaurant on the street but there is a limited amount of parking behind the building in the alley.”
