Woah! This place is awesome inside and out! The decorations in the restaurant really set the vibe with the old time car parts as chairs and decorations. But forget the decorations. This food is top notch. I don't think there is anything on the menu that is not delicious. To top it all off the service is next level. Anytime I am anywhere near South Eastern Kansas I will be visiting here.

No wait staff. You order at the counter then sit down & they bring you your food. Drinks are self-service too.

I had a small portion of ribs and a salad. The ribs were very dry and I actually was queasy the rest of the day. I think they were old and maybe overcooked to start with. I was really disappointed in this place and will not be going back. I see these other reviews and I appear to be the exception. I had eaten here before and found it acceptable. Salad bar is okay.

We were surprised to find this spot and have no regrets. The loaded potato and the brisket sandwich were really great. Service was quick and mindful. Highly recommended! Great job folks!

This food is nothing like it use to be. We haven't Bern there in years and they should give us a refund. It was not good at all. If we didn't live 20 mile away we would've taken it back instead we trashed it.

This was the 255th 'cue stop in a journey encompassing 30 states-- and the 14th stop inside Kansas. At the time of writing this review, Dudley's is top ranked by the folks at Only in Your State. On a Saturday night at around 7 PM, empty tables predominated. and the well maintained salad bar seemed to be a bigger draw than the BBQ for many of the other customers. I laid out $17.93 for 3 ribs and turkey, with Texas toast, a side of cheesy potatoes, and a refillable soda (Pepsi products) completing the order. The ribs were well prepared: the meat separated cleanly at the bite, and the rub proved to be a pleasing version of the traditional KC style. I sacrificed one rib to the house sauce before setting it firmly to the side. The cheesy potatoes were top-notch, but not so the turkey, which lacked both smoke and flavor. Curiously, it came shaved rather than sliced-- a major "miss."So, there were a couple of "hits" here, but the turkey was grim. It will take more than one visit to work through the balance of the menu, and put together a platter that's delish from start to finish! If you would like to read more reviews of BBQ in Kansas, or elsewhere in the continental US, you can consult our 49 published lists by following us, and then scrolling down through the current stack of reviews and photos. The place was nice and the ladies were friendly. I let one lady pick what I should order cause it’s my first time there. I got the Impala, and I’m pleasantly surprised. It’s very good. I also added some wings with it. I’m a truck driver, so if I’m ever back in Lola, I’m definitely swinging by again. Saved as a favorite

Some of the best BBQ around. Never disappointed and the staff are always friendly.

I had the ribs and brisket with cheesy potatoes and a side order of jalapeno mac and cheese bites. My son got the Impala and daughter in law got the Buick. I didn't care at all for the ribs or the brisket. It I had to choose one I guess it would be the ribs. The cheesy potato and mac bites were good. I had a bite of the impala and a onion ring and they were good. I did like both the mild and hot sauces. My son had to salad bar and liked it. It wasn't the cleanest place and we battled flies. This review is for my order only. I don't think I will be back and I really hate to say it.

Had lunch here yesterday, not a bad little spot, I ordered smoked Mac n cheese bowl, topped with pulled pork and barbecue sauce, queso and chives, came with Texas toast, was a nice portion, it filled me up. Decent place to eat, service organization needs a little work, but overall, good experience.

If you are in Iola for lunch on the North side of town near Walmart waiting on the Automotive Care Centwr to install your new set of Goodyear tires, check out this restaurant for lunch. Their Pit potato is awesome. The barbecue is some of the best in the area that I have tasted. There are local residebts that frequent the establishment on a regular basis. The atmosphere is detailed and allows one to slip away for little while to enjoy a nice meal. This is a great place for good memories with family and friends.
