Food was delicious: our steaks were cooked just right and the bourbon chicken was the best made chicken I've ever had. But the star of the meal was the dessert. I tried the butter toffee (or something like that) cake with vanilla bean ice cream. I can hardly wait to go back! The ambiance was nice and the service was wonderful, even on a busy Friday night! The manager personally checked in with us multiple times.

I'm in town for work and needed dinner when I came upon this spot. The location is deceptive cause I didn't see a sign outside. The inside is very spacious and has a chill vibe. The staff is so friendly and quick with everything. I decided to order a few things so I would have food to take to my hotel room. I got the garlic cheese curd to start and they have so much flavor in such a small bite. For my main I got the blu burger and a side of mac and cheese. The burger has onions, mushrooms and blue cheese on it. Very delicious. For desert I tried their Carmel butter toffy cake. Everything was a hit. I totally recommend this place. It's family friendly and has a diverse menu.

I reached out to this establishment privately on Monday. With no response. This is the message I sent through their Facebook as well as through their website. Being as I haven't heard from them yet, I'm just going to leave this here:(Personal contact info omitted from this version)"Hello.My name is Wren Tincott. I was in with my wife and mother earlier tonight and I would really like to speak to someone who might be able to clarify some things. when we ordered my wife ordered originally the Philly sandwich and asked for a gluten free bun substitution. our server returned and apologized that the chef didn't have a gluten free bun the size the sandwich would call for and offered instead to sub it for a gluten free wrap. we agreed to the substitution but then moments later were informed there were no gluten free wraps available either. we were then offered the option to turn the sandwich into tacos and were asked how many we would like. I replied, as much as a Philly sandwich (our original order) would need. we were very surprised to find that we had been charged for 3 tacos which did not come with a side. If we had known we would be charged per taco for what was originally a philly steak sandwich order as well as not receiving a side of any kind we could have chosen something different. however, we were not informed that instead of the best possible substitution (which we thought we were getting) our Philly sandwich order would be treated like a taco order and therefore it would not come with a side. I don't feel this is right. and the price change was not expected, nor do I feel justified. we were under the impression the tacos were just a way to get us as close to what we originally ordered despite the kitchen being out of key ingredients. there was also an issue with my mother's chicken fried steak coming out with gravy and having to be remade and her salad wasn't brought out until after I approached a waitress about it. our server was very kind but flustered after having to present us with so many substitution from lack of ingredients so I'm choosing to reach out here for some sort of resolution instead of having "made a scene" at your establishment/just blasted you on Facebook. I really do want this restaurant to thrive and was so excited to see one with home cooking that was also affordable with a classy feel. but I feel our experience was lacking and would appreciate it if someone would reach out to me in regards to this."

We had a wonderful dinner at blu last night. Our server madison was amazing. We had creative cocktails and awesome entrees. I had chicken and shrimp. hubby had pasta Alfredo. It seemed well managed with lots of servers. One suggestion is that they need online reservations. I called to reschedule and got a busy signal. On line reservation systems like open table or resy would be a game changer for this restaurant. We'll be back soon!

Unfortunate experience with the restaurant. Arrived at 6:45 pm, seated shortly after 7:00 pm, ended up leaving at 8:00 pm having not received our food order while watching other groups of people who arrived after us receive theirs (not appetizers either). The manager (by my best guess) was working his tail off, but was very evident the primarily high school age wait staff was mostly meandering around with typical teenage lackadaisical attitudes. By my best guess there was only 1 cook in the back too. Nobody was rude. Place looked well maintained and clean. It just didn't seem that the procedures and staff training was in place both on the floor or in the kitchen to successfully operate in a chaotic restaurant environment. A Lot of 5 star reviews on this place, so hopefully it was just a fluke, or maybe I just didn't have the patience needed this day. Ended up walking across the street and getting a Seafood Alfredo dish ordered and ate by about 8:30 pm.
