“Q13 is the place to be for game days or just a dinner date with your spouse. We absolutely love the food, the staff, and the owner. They’ve gone out of their way to create delicious food and drinks. They are inclusive to all races, ages, genders, drinkers and non-drinkers alike. We absolutely love coming here and having dinner and a mock tail!Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly during dinner hours, fun for mom and dad late at night!“
“We had a wonderful dinner tonight with our favorite server, Brian. He always does a fantastic job. Brian has such a great attitude and always makes us feel welcome. He pays attention to details and never fails to be a memorable server. In addition to the items checked, we also had an order of catfish nuggets (especially good w/the hushpuppy sauce) & Shrimp Czarina with a side of our most favorite sauce, Pontchartrain. I didn't realize they offered Big Red soda so that was another highlight for me. I marked the blackened chicken fettuccine but actually ordered the pasta Jus which is the same dish with broccoli florets added in honor of an owner/kitchen manager that passed away in 2023.“
“Top notch best seafood I've ever had in Kansas! and I lived half hour from the ocean for 15 years. even the fries and sweet potato waffle fries were cooked perfectly. I live 3 hrs from KC, but definitely will eat here every chance I get. 5 Stars!“
“If you are looking for a taste of Cajun food, this is THE place! It may look a little unassuming from the outside, but the food inside is amazing! We had the blue crab po'boy and sea hog (bacon wrapped shrimp) po'boy, shared a bowl of seafood gumbo and side of okra.Everything was cooked to perfection!“
“KC Cajun Food Truck came to my job today, and it was SO good. I have never had Cajun food before, and after this, I will be eating more of it. Not too spicy. The pasta was flavorful, and you got a lot of it.My only complaint, I wish it hadn't been so cold out. :)“
“Our waitress, Leah was phenomenal. Best service I have had here in KC in several years.Parking: Garage on State line, just behind Jazz. Scan the QR cide at your spot. Sign up on the sight. After your meal at Jazz, scan the QR code at the restaurant, and poof! Your parking is free and paid for (3 hours max).“
“We've now been here a couple of times, and it is wonderful if you like seafood. Lots of different options, and all of it good. It's especially a fun place to eat with friends, digging into the bag of crab boil (or whatever you decide to get). Use the bib! Get your hands messy! And extremely reasonable pricing! You can eat your fill for pretty cheap.Parking: Tons of parking in the shopping plaza's spaces. No problem at all.Kid-friendliness: If your kid likes to make a mess, this is the place for it!“
“We have been here twice and its a great place to eat for seafood. The food came out hot and very good! The staff was very nice and attentive. It took a little longer to get our food but, we just had drinks and talked and chilled for a bit. I definitely recommend trying this place!“
“As a New Orleans native, I've got this homesick itch that only authentic, soulful Louisiana cooking can scratch. And guess what? KC Daiquiri Shop hits the spot every single time. It's like a little piece of New Orleans tucked away in Kansas City.First off, the flavors here are the real deal. I heard the chef hails from Louisiana, and let me tell you, it shows. Every dish bursts with that authentic, spicy goodness that takes me straight back to the bayou. From jambalaya that dances on your taste buds to gumbo that hugs your soul, this place has it all.But let's not forget the drinks – they are absolutely fire! The daiquiris here? Imagine a Mardi Gras parade in a glass. They've got this magical way of blending sweetness, kick, and fun, perfect for toasting with friends. The vibe? It's like stepping into a lively Louisiana kitchen - casual, vibrant, and always welcoming. Whether it's for a catch-up with pals or just to soothe that NOLA longing, KC Daiquiri Shop is my go-to.In short, if you're craving a taste of Louisiana in KC, this is your spot. Authentic, flavorful, and just plain fun - it's a culinary trip to the South without leaving town.“
“Me and my sweetheart were there last Saturday. He had chicken and I had the fish. Absolutely delicious! We also had drinks. The bartender and waitresses were outstanding and extremely cordial. The service is great, food great, portions great. Drinks are really good! We will be definitely coming again.“
