Without its advocacy for foster care youth, this is a restaurant that offers phenomenal sandwiches, wraps, salads, coffee, and breakfast. But knowing that eating here supports such an important mission makes eating at Connect Cafe even better. Thanks for the great food and the vital work you are doing.

A new favorite I've got to stop in every time I'm in the area... I've got to remember to make it in before 10: 30am for breakfast, that fried egg avocado Swiss toast.. yummy!

Newer to the KCK coffee and lunch scene, Connect Cafe is a gem and one of my favorite local spots in KCK. It's run by Foster, Adopt, Connect building, a local non-profit, and former foster youth are intentionally employed as staff. Their staff is kind, thorough, and a joy to interact with! Equally important- their food will blow you way! The soups, salads, and sandwiches are made with quality ingredients and there is no skimping on flavor. My personal favorite is the BLT on wheat-- we're talking 8-9 pieces of bacon and it might just be my favorite BLT in the city. Pair the cute side salad, any soup of the day, or a homemade cookie and you're guaranteed to have a great day. I've taken several friends and the takeaway has been that everyone has loved the meal they picked. They offer several bread choices and a few non-meat options. It's perfect spot to meet with a small group of colleagues or friends- there are several small tables, high tops, and a couch area to accommodate groups of 2-6. Everything comes out of their kitchen very quickly, so it's a great add to your work week lunch rotation! Only con is that they are closed weekends, but you won't regret finding the time to fit it into your work week!

For my first time going to connect Cafe, I would say that I had a pretty good experience. The atmosphere, the food, and the service was all good.

Service was great! Couldn't figure out how I wanted my coffee made and they made sure I got it right. Normally I order the same thing much is saved in my phone so couldn't remember. Also had the turkey, avocado and Swiss sandwich on sourdough. Totally elevated!

This is one of those places that's so good, I was almost mad at myself for waiting so long to try it. I was here for breakfast this time, but I will definitely be back to try their lunch menu.Though this is a smaller coffee shop, seating is ample and service is rapid. The atmosphere is bohemian in an unforced, non-Starbucks way. The look and feel fits well with the neighborhood.I had biscuits and gravy, which were absolutely delicious. The biscuits in particular were good enough that I would have eaten them plain. The order even came with a small side of melon and pineapple, very fresh and quite tasty. I also had a chai, which was served "to go" hot. It too was excellent once it had the chance to cool down.Wheelchair accessibility: The front entrance doesn't look accessible, but they do have an accessible side entrance through the shop next door.

My sandwich (BLT) was ok and I ordered Mac n cheese for my side which was really really really bad. It was runny and not cooked all the way. Tasted like kraft mac n cheese or worse. I may go back and try something else.
