Very disappointing meal We are there about a year ago. Portions were ridiculously small. I always order a tamale to see how they are. It was one of the worst I ever had. The masa had way too much moisture in it. The tamale was monstrous and mostly masa -- almost no filling. Overall not a place I'd go back to unless someone else was choosing the restaurant. Neither of us liked our meal and we had to go get more food on the way home because we were both still hungry. I'm a light eater with the appetite of a mouse so that's an unusual thing to have happen.
Parking is a disaster. It's difficult to find a spot, and the neighborhood is not the best. However, the food is! The selection of the food of the quality is incredible. The service is indeed quite good, but without a good working knowledge of spanish, it is a little tough to get by. The atmosphere is perfect for this quaint, little restaurant. It reminds me of similar places in Central America. Perhaps that's the goal, and it is well accomplished.Kid-friendliness: It is very casual, so children will fit right in.

Service was fast and friendly and the food was tasty. My sister and I split a meal of 3 different kinds of pupusas and fried plantains. Everything was delicious. Definitely will be back!

Love that this restaurant has the best pupusas in town, still has an original homemade taste. And the staff is very respectful and professional.
