This place has the best Chinese food in the KC area!!!! My best friend got it recommended to here by her patient, and took me along with her. We tried every rangoon on their menu and each one is worth it. The chicken is also phenomenal and you can just taste the freshness of everything! And you can really tell it is all homemade. Definitely try it out if you have not done so. Me and my friend are definitely going to be repeat customers.

10/10 experience. This place got recommended to me by a customer at work. And basically, if you've ever heard of the food anime. Where they spend 5min showing the chef students having food-gasms. Ya that's what tasting this food is like. Their dessert crab rangoon nearly made me cry. They have 8 different types of crab rangoon and all were wonderful. The chicken and different sauces were all delicious. Best crab rangoon and customer service I've had in KC. If you're talking yourself out of the drive it's worth it.

Tried it out for the first time and it was well worth the trip. My wife had the Springfield Chicken, it was excellent. The vegetables were well done and still had some crunch. I had the Kung Pao Chicken, it had fantastic spice without being overbearing. The chicken egg rolls were large and flavorful. We the Crab Rangoon, the regular and dessert, you can tell that they were hand made by a skilled artisan. They make it worth the trip. If you are looking for great Chinese with friendly service and very healthy portions. This is truly a destination place to go.

This was our first visit to Tao Tao's and were surprised to learn that Anne's (owner) birthday was turning 77 and the shop 52 years! There was a person from the news interviewing and celebrating how many years they've had a successful Chinese food business! The mother and daughter were genuinely kind people and their staff even gave everyone in the shop a slice of cake to celebrate. The food in general was amazing and worth the drive. Thank you all for being such kind people. We could see the smiles you have brought to your community with delicious food! I definitely will be returning in the future. ?? Happy new years!? ?
Quite a drive- but totally worth it! The food is always made fresh; you get a lot for the price. Everyone there is friendly and invested in getting to know their patrons. Highly recommend if you’re craving Chinese food!
