“If you like to try different Bourbon and Whiskey this is the place, guessing they had 75 or more. Everything from low end to higher end including Blanton's, Eagle rare Bourbon. Depending on the Bourbon price can vary alot. But if you always want to try a higher quality drink but didn't want to spend money on a bottle this is the place.I discovered a new favorite Calemet 10 year, so much flavor, I preferred this over Blanton's which is pricey almost 3x the price.They have some basic bar food, because when sampling so many Bourbon or Whiskey your really do need some food.I will be back next time in town to try some others on the list. BTW I have my drink made Old Fashioned, I prefer the flavor, but they do sell them neat, in the rocks etc all same price.“

“Great place, friendly staff and patrons. Great place to have a cigar, grab a bite, and watch the game. Then hang out and listen to live music in the front end of the building. Private rooms, friendly atmosphere, and reasonable prices. What more could you possibly ask for??If you're not a member, find someone who is and head on over. Once you do, you'll probably ask for a member application.“

“Service was friendly. They had a live band and were busy that Saturday night. They have a large outside yard that has a little Cowtown setup which was pretty neat. The best thing about this little bar was that they have a fire pit outside that burns wood and not natural gas or propane. That is 5 stars in my book any day!Parking lot parking is limited, so street parking it is, especially on live band nights.“

And old-fashioned is no joke: its nestled inbetween historic oldtown and downtown with art installations all over the alley. Open mic is the best talent in town (art or comedy). “Visit #1, 03/15/24 ☆☆☆☆☆ Food is always good...although it was a little slow to get my food almost 40 minutes with only 3 other people in the bar. I got the Timbuktu Burger with Onion Rings (As well as a take out order). The girls were very nice and attentive to my table. It's a little on the higher priced side for burgers, BUT it's fresh Yoder meat. NOT frozen Sysco stuff..Also take cash as Credit/Debit Cards are NOT accepted!“

“One of our favorites! The food is always perfect and the staff is tremendous. We’ve never had a bad experience.*** Note that the Spinach Artichoke dip is the best in town.This is a perfect restaurant for a date night, cocktails and apps, or work dinner. Highly recommended!“

“Worked here for a few hours today in one of the booths. Super comfortable spot with coffee, cold brew, lattes, and more alongside your typical booze. They have small snacks like muffins and cookies, but nothing substantial. Will definitely be back.“

“Always hang out here when I'm in town. Super chill, laid back, and everyone's friendly. Pool and music inside w a bar and cozy little booths and tables. Outside on the patio they have a big picnic table and several smaller tables for smoking and talking. They have good drink specials and the bartenders are amazing. Fun place to go if u just feel like hanging out and don't want to get all dressed up; it's cool bc here nobody cares about all that ha.“

“Mordecai is a good place to listen to live bands no problem with that.. but when the person answering the phone doesn't know when bands are playing that's the problem they're not very well informed evidently and they're not very courteous over the phone I would rate them like a 2 for PR and 5 for music...“

“The atmosphere is really cool and the glasses are very unique. Drinks are great, wait staff are great. My only complaint is it's pretty small, so good luck getting a table for like 5 or more people. The patio is a good size though, so it'll be great in the summer!“

“I try a-lot of different restaurants around Wichita. I got the angry wasp wings with fries. I don’t usually like bone in but I got them this time and I’m glad I did. The wings are probably the best wings I’ve had around and you can’t beat the price. Definitely check this place out! Food and beer is excellent along with the staff.“

“The staff were lovely and my spouse’s cocktail was great. I got The Baron of Earl. It’s a cocktail with egg white in it- so I was puzzled to see it in a rocks glass filled to the brim with ice when delivered. The sheer amount of ice messed up the texture of the egg white in the cocktail and also made me feel like I was going to have a deluge of ice tumble onto my face. I think a big rock cube, or more preferably no ice at all, would have made it more enjoyable imo.“

“My favorite in Wichita.Google wants an update for my review. Field House is still my favorite. Leslie, John, and their staff make this wonderful place a second home to so many. Friends, family, and all those passing through are all just a conversation away from meeting new and interesting people in a down to earth, no nonsense setting where trivia, sports, and even dog shows might be on the TVs at any given point. Happy hour 3 to 6 and daily specials to boot.“
