Great place if you want good bbq with just a short wait. Husband and I split a 2 meat plate and added 2 ribs (because of so many great recommendations of the ribs). We had plenty of good! Brisket and pulled pork were good but ribs were fall off the bone tender. Fried green beans were good for something different and the macaroni salad was excellent. There's a variety of sauces from hot, vinegar to sweet and sweet with a tang. Prices were a bit higher than the website listed, but still very reasonable and a lot of food for the price. Friendly service, too. Highly recommend!

So good it should be illegal, all of the meat here is top choice bbq sauce is absolutely delicious and the service is always very friendly I get the special everytime I come in because it's an incredible deal with those amazing fries. This place is a 10 out of 10
So I go get my hair cut just a block away from Biemer's and when I was done I told the barber that I did competition bbq and asked where a good bbq place was near by and he tells me "heck is just a half a block away" I did my research and the reviews were the best in Lawrence. So I made a hop skip and a jump and there I was at Biemer's, burnt ends on point, ribs were bite through. Man what more can you ask for. Thank you Biemer's BBQ for a great experience!

The food and service is excellent. Pulled pork was delicious but they need to pull the pork apart it was all one big piece. Ribs are delicious too.

If you're looking for good BBQ in Lawrence, get on I-70 east, and drive 35-45 minutes to almost any BBQ joint in KC and enjoy. This place ain't it! Great service, but food was mid at best, trash at worst.
