For years, this use to be our favorite Chinese restaurant in Lawrence. But sad to say it is now overpriced and low quality. Hostess was very rude. Too expensive for the quality.

I ordered the chicken lomein (delivery) and it was nothing special. Serving size was relatively small. I don't understand the hype behind this place. But hey maybe the foods better when you dine in. Don't think I will order again. Oh and there was almost a 45 min delay wrt when the order should've arrived (scheduled delivery)

Made a delivery ordered of two fried rice and one bubble tea. Delivery driver took the food to the wrong house even though specific directions were given, and only delivered one of the three items I ordered. Encore said they can’t help me with the issue other than I can submit a new order. Very poor customer service and lost a customer.

First time coming here. The food is fabulous, our server, not impressed. We haven’t been checked on once. Still in restaurant while I’m writing this. Just waiting, waiting for our check. Will try again and hopefully have a different server.

Originally went to downtown Lawrence to try a different restaurant though they were a little too crowed. Saw this place while walking and decided to give it a shot based off the 4.5 star rating. Waited for about 25-30 min for a table for 2, this was around 8pm and had extremely prompt service once seated. Our host was more than pleasant with a great energy and personality, will seek them again. The food was the best Chinese I’ve had in Lawrence and really out of all my fav spots.

The environment of the restaurant is very cool, the service can be somewhat lacking and if you're expecting anything more than mediocre i wouldnt go here, ive had frozen chinese food better than what they serve here. DO NOT order the crab rangoon, you will be highly disappointed.

I was really disappointed when the bill came, an item on our bill did not match the price that was listen on the menu.After sending the bill back with our waiter, he came back with a different price, still not matching the menu price.Bringing this concern up a second time, he said the manager split the difference.All other aspects of my visit were 5 stars, but leaving the restaurant I felt disappointed that even when bringing up a discrepancy in the bill to the waiter and the manager, Encore still wasn't going to honor the price that was listed on the menu and we had to split the difference.

Terrible hostesses. Forgot to put in my takeout order, resulting in having to wait for them to fill it for 10 minutes. The hostesses were on their phones the whole time and seemed to not care about customer experience at all.

Excellent Terriyaki Beef and Generals Taos Chicken. Service was great. Our server was attentive and answered our questions. We were there for lunch on a weekday. It was not very busy, and we were served quickly.
