Love coming here! Last night we had dinner on the patio, the host put tables together for us and had a patio heater brought ob=ver to our table, the server was great, she knew all the specials and the delicious food was brought out hot and in a timely manner we will definitely will be back.

Met with brothers and their wives for an excellent meal. The location of our tables was a perfect place for us to talk and share recent stories.

This classy little joint has it all, ambiance, service and amazing fresh Italian food. If you are craving authentic Ligurian fresh pasta this is the place. Transports me to Portofino! Legendary zucchini chips appetizer so light, so crispy. Best meatball and sauce we can find. Beautiful pastas, the paparadelle en sugo is my favorite. The spinach fettuccine is so fresh tender, notes of fresh garlic and rich homemade alfredo sauce. Wine specials, food specials, happy hour, nice outdoor seats enjoying the sunshine in downtown Lawrence. Great parking directly behind the restaurant.

We went on a Sat evening for New Year's Eve Eve. Started out well with bubbles and steak tartar. Caesar salad was nice size. Enjoyed the spinach fettuccine Alfredo, sauce was light and not too heavy. KC strip was more medium than rare but well seasoned. Halfway through our meal, the atmosphere shifted. A server sat at the bar with a flatware holder and sorted flatware, obviously unaware of how incredibly loud it was. I even checked the time to see if it was closing time but it was 7:15 on a Saturday. The kitchen sounded like they were catching up on dishes as we heard the pots, pans, dishes and sprayer in the sink. A divider over the kitchen walls would help. We were going to have dessert but decided it was time to go. As we left, there were three servers sitting at the corner of the bar.We loved old Genovese and want to love the new one. It seems like an effort it being made for a nice experience but that is not what we had...to clarify, we didn't leave mad but were chuckling about it. A few other observations - the red Coca Cola cooler is really bright and out of place, the mirror over our table looks like it was cleaned with a dirty rag and the specials board also looks out of place (and it's hard to read from the sidewalk). We'll be back, but probably just for lunch.

One of the best spots on Mass to get affordable & delicious authentic Italian food! All of the pastas are exceptional, but my favorite is definitely the bolognese. Service is excellent, as well; we will be back soon!

Took my grandma here for dinner and they had a live jazz band. They also have sandwiches during lunch hours and I always get the one with meatballs.

Lovely restaurant in a great space with a full bar. Server and owner were very attentive and did a great job marketing the establishment. Mussels were fantastic and would go back for mussels, bread, and a salad. Spaghetti with meatballs was underwhelming as the pasta sauce was very watery and didn't stick to the meatballs or pasta. Will definitely go back, but would try something other than the meatballs and pasta.

Lovely attentive service and my husband and I wanted to spilt a dish and they did it for us in the kitchen so neither one of us had to eat on a toddler plate! Good wine list.

Bread was thin sliced toasted Italian bread from a grocer, one might expect baguette. Served with tasty marinara and a pesto, tiny amt of olive oil. Alfredo was tasteless and homemade pasta was clumped together on the plate. Parm not offered with meal; s/p might have helped but not available. Partner had meatballs which were tender and delicious. Service was great; waitress attentive. Food in need of course correction.

Everything was wonderful. I will definitely go back. It wasn't a large place but it was definitely very elegant.
