Ok this place is amazing, it's located just north of Lawrence nestled in a 40 acre farm, it's a beautiful area. The owners are a family and they are the nicest people you could ever meet. And of course the wine is 100% Kansas grown and so good. You have to try the Norton Barrel Reserve if you are in the mood for a superior dry red wine.

Nice place. Good wine. Cindy was very welcoming and enjoyed explaining the different wines to us. It is a family run winery. Ed gave us a tour of the facility and explained the process of making wine. It has a very relaxing and quiet atmosphere. We will be back!

We stopped by a few wineries on the way to Lawrence for dinner. Irvine's was far and away the best. The owners were incredibly kind and hospitable. One of them told us the story of the winery, allowed us to try a couple of different wines before ordering a glass, and happily served us our wine. It was a beautiful day outside and they had a band playing. We had a blast and I would highly recommend stopping by if in the area.
