Our food was so salty we had to complain. The server said "yeah, the smoked fish is really salty" and we were not charged for the meal. The crab cakes were delicious. The mayo was just a standard chipotle type mayo and the picked celery was great!! They will get a second try.

This is a barbecue house, not a fish house or Raw bar, the food is exceptionally fantastic. I would recommend that anybody that is in town. Go to this place and try it. I could not believe the amount of people standing in line and the pound of people trying to get in to get the food, whether you're taking it to go or dining in. Period you do have to be patient because it is limited seating. But it seems that people move pretty quickly. No one takes up a lot of space that long period the rack of ribs comma the macaroni and cheese comma the dirty rice comma the apple Dessert, and match much much more on the menu. If you're in Kansas City, find this place and go there. You have one awesome dinner.

What a gem!!! A Fish House, and Raw Bar in Kansas, that was beyond expectations. A classy, chill interior. Lighting, and mood is perfect. The bar is staffed with seasoned professionals, mixologist would be more appropriate. Our food was super fresh, and served quickly. Great oyster selection, that you don't find very often. And... a value. A comparable dinner in Chicago, or other large city would be considerably more. If you love seafood, this place will not disappoint.

We really enjoy Mass Street Fish House, especially during happy hour. Happy hour has great food options - Ahi Tuna Nachos, Mussels and Frittes, Fresh shucked oysters and cava - a good prices. The service is always attentive and courteous. The atmosphere is pleasant and the noise level lets you carry on a conversation with your friends.

The staff is always warm and friendly, the food is so yummy, and the patio (with heaters) is lovely. We especially love to go for happy hour. We get a boat can beer (which changes every time) for only $3 and have fish and chips and ahi tuna nachos for happy hour specials. The fish and chips never disappoints! This place is also great for a date night or fancier meal. Also just a little side note from a plant-lover: the bathroom has lovely potted plants and always several vases of fresh cut flowers as well. I appreciate the details like that!

Ate outdoors , amazing ambience.. cocktails were solid, crab cakes are best around. I'm not a huge seafood fan, so I had the ribeye . I'd prefer a smaller cut, a filet option or strip. But I get it .. Seafood place. Service was good, price point in line with other higher end dining spots in the same vicinity.
Great time meeting with friends! Lauren and her staff were very accommodating. Sam made sure we were well taken care of. And Riley was an excellent server. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, and will be back as soon as we can! PS. A very popular place so I recommend getting reservations.

Really enjoyed the salmon. The outside was wonderfully crispy while the inside was perfectly tender. The old fashioned was done well and not too sweet. The turkish olive oil cake was very unique and very good.

Went to get something to eat after being on a plane most of the afternoon on a Sunday evening at around 8:25 PM. Although the hours of operation were clearly posted as the place being open until 10, I was informed that their kitchen was closed. As I was leaving, one of the servers rudely told me that there were plenty of fast food restaurants still open. Guess I will never be going here again.

For it being a fish place none of the seafood was fresh, all was definitely frozen before. We expected better quality for how expensive this place was.
