Tous Les Jours is a chain of bakeries in South Korea. Generally, their goods are average quality. The same goes for this stateside incarnation. The coffee is good. The red bean bread is just ok. The setup is self-serve with tongs and trays. Displays take up most of the shop with some tables and chairs in the back. A window into kitchen where the baking is going on.

I stopped here on a Sunday morning during a bike ride. I had two items. I had a curry croquet that was warm and delicious. The other item was a sweet pastry wrapped around a hot dog/link. It was good as well. I should have asked for it to be heated up. I sat outside on the patio. It was clean and inviting. I will return and try more items.

This was my first visit, so I got several items to try. First, I like the way products are set up for customers to easily explore on their own and make decisions at their own pace with the self-serve style. The experience was fun & exciting and very clean. However, the overall atmosphere was oddly quiet & uncomfortable at the same time??Unfortunately, when I sampled the different pastries (at home), I was disappointed. The plain croissant was overcooked and dry, a slice of peach cake was stale and was clearly not fresh. I tried a few other fruit & cheese based pastries & they were all disappointing with a lack of flavor. They looked beautiful, but the flavor was missing. Surprisingly, the best item was something I got on a whim & it was perfection... a plain twisted donut with granulated sugar coating. It was fresh, soft, and flavorful without being super sweet... a delight!I would definitely go back for a second chance, though, at a different time of day. Earlier in the morning would have been better, I bet.

This place is a great spot to grab a midday snack. It's pretty far from the city center. However, what you get in exchange is an abundance of space. All of the pastries are self serve; mostly in the middle of the cafe. We split a Redbean Donut, a Vanilla Cream Donut, and a Caramel Apple Pie pastry. I also got an Iced Lavender Latte. The pastries were all excellent. I (almost always) think most pastries are too sweet. I think that a lot of companies use sugar to mask an inferior product. Almost exactly how steak houses use A1 (or similar) sauces to mask substandard cuts of meat; but I digress. However, these were perfect. Just sweet enough to enhance the flavor but not so sweet as to mask the flavor. I will definitely return.

I love this place, I've tried at least half of the things they make. I think they're really reasonably priced for the quality. The staff is always super friendly and eager to help if you have questions.My favorites are their croquettes and matcha brownies, but I get a wide variety of pastries to share with friends every time I go.
