Service was pretty good with food coming out at different times. Music too loud. Food was okay. Dessert and drinks were very good.

I came in on a Friday night with a party of 10. Everything went well until the food was supposed to arrive. Everyone received their food and had almost completely finished by the time my order was supposed to come. I ended up canceling the meal and requesting to speak to the manager. The manager was unapologetic, Gave excuses and not apologetic in any way.

1- Flavor & quality of the meal was a one star. Dry, overcooked, underseasoned, lacking flavor, & vile mealy tomatoes.2- Grossly overpriced for the quality of food presented. A meal for two totaled nearly $400.3- I discreetly reached out to management in private following our dining experience. They did not respond. Our waiter was kind, & engaged. The food was shockingly bad. We hoped to invest in an intimate dining experience & memorable meal at Paros Estiatorio for Valentines Day. When we invest $400 or more on a dining experience for two people, we anticipate an experience worthy of our investment. There was not an equal value exchange.First, a romantic dining experience was not offered. We were seated with six other patrons packed into the window seating. Upon being seated our dining experience was no longer a private one. I had to physically move the table to pass my thighs into the shared bench seat I shared with two others. Rather than chatting with my partner, we gabbed with fellow patrons questioning why we were packed in side-by-side & commenting about the seating arrangement. It was not an intimate dinner experience for couples. The tables were 4"-6” apart. We heard the conversations of the couples beside us during our entire meal. I’m sure they were also interrupted by our dinner service & discussion as well. It gave me greasy spoon diner or crowded coffee shop vibes, even though the decor is lovely. The "Grilled Octopus" was served at room temperature. Dare I say, it was cold. No grill marks, no flavor packed char, and no seasoning. No effort to tenderize the octopus had been made. It had not been parboiled or braised before hitting an open flame grill. This left it tough, rubbery, under seasoned, cold, & chewy. It did not look, taste, or feel like grilled octopus. My guess is it was boiled & then refrigerated prior to serving. We couldn’t eat it.We also ordered the flaming slice of cheese served with pita. This slice of cheese was tastefully presented. However, I was absolutely astonished we were paying upwards of $41+ (cost per course/per person) for a warm slice of cheese. I began to second guess our decision to dine here at this point.Next up, Greek Salads. We were served salads with soft, grainy, mealy tomatoes. The texture was like grainy paste. The tomatoes were so bad it was not palatable. I suspected the salad was made days prior or the tomatoes were lacking freshness before preparing the salad. It was awful. It was bland in the total absence of salt, herbs, or vinegar. It was dressed in olive oil only with no acidity. What stood out was mealy, stale, tomatoes. Again, we invested upwards of $41+ each for mushy tomato salads. At this point, our disappointment set it. We stopped eating. Our dinner had not yet arrived, and we began feeling ripped-off of the meal and dining experience we anticipated. One of each of the lamb dishes was ordered for dinner. One was served a la carte with no side item to create a balanced meal or harmonious flavor experience. Far worse, it was dry, fibrous, stringy, and overcooked. It was astonishingly rich with nothing else on the plate to balance the flavor or dish. I don’t think any chef would argue otherwise – it was overcooked. The 2nd dish option was lamb shank served with feta mashed potatoes. The lamb shank was tender. However, I found it to be extraordinarily gamey, sweet, & as though beef stock had been used. The potatoes were so cold the starch was beginning to stiffen, much like refrigerated leftover mashed potatoes would. They were cool, bland, starchy, and 100% plain. I could not detect a hint of salt, garlic, herbs, butter, cream, milk, feta brine, or feta cheese. It's fair to describe the potatoes as flavorless. We swiftly boxed our desert to go & departed. I didn't express my concern in the restaurant because I couldn't do so privately, due to the seating arrangement with strangers. Secondly, none of this was the fault of our hardworking server. It was the worst meal we can recall experiencing i

Wanted to try the entire menu! Went with the trio dips, lobster pasta, bronzino and side of potatoes and it was all incredible. The lemon potatoes are a must, will get those every time now

Fancy but casual, intimate spot for good service, good drinks, and good food. The flaming cheese was delicious and I had lamb chops that were amazing as well.

The Greek charcuterie board(flat bread, olives, cucumber slices, greek yogurt and hummus dips) were amazingly good. But the tortellini with white sauce had mushy tortellini noodles($35) I've had way better, but my husband loved the fish of the day. (Sea salt encrusted baked fish, I'm not sure...but around $45) Only fish, no side dishes. Overall, the flatbread board was sooo good....everything else...way over priced. And ok.

Always an aesthetic experience. Great food and our server Julia was wonderful. The family does a great job in meal preparation and presentation. It is a special restaurant. So sorry for the family loss.

Excellent service & food. The restaurant is so calm & pretty...very nice space. It's slightly loud when full, but not sure how that could be avoided. All the positives outweigh!

Kind of a hidden treasure in south Leawood, it has a small dining room, great for celebrations. Pricy menu, good seafood, good Greek food, great service. Only complaint? The tomatoes on the Greek salad were a bit over ripe....buy those tomatoes every day, guys. Buy fresh.

My first time at Paros Estiatorio. I was on my own in town for business. Dustin was VERY attentive and great with helping me pick out each course and a wine to accompany my meal. I will definitely be back with the husband in tow. My only complaint is charging as much for one glass of wine as I would pay for the entire bottle, but that is really common practice with alcohol anymore.

Wine and apps were great. Meal was ok. Lamb shank was a bit fatty and gamey, and too much rosemary. Also it was served cold. Server was hurrying us out of our table to accommodate other reservations. At those prices, we should have been allowed to stay and not feel rushed.

Went for drinks and appetizers. The food is great, good service, but the eating area is somewhat loud and difficult to carry on a quiet conversion.

Visited for a date night. Beautiful atmosphere, staff, and plated food. However. For the amount you spend the food was subpar, my lamb skewer was extremely small for $40 I only had 5 small pieces of meat on my plate. There was more potatoes than meat and I was still hungry after leaving. Husband got the lobster pasta which looked incredible. He though the pasta was great but there was no flavor on the lobster and again not very much meat. For a starter we got the zucchini cakes they were great. Desserts we had the ice cream and the olive oil cake. Both great but again not for 14 and 16 dollars. Mine was literally just chocolate and vanilla ice cream with whipped cream on top. We love to try new places and love the experience that comes with eating at fancy beautiful restaurants but it was sub par for the 180 price at the end of the night.

The service is exceptional, they make you feel like you're the only one there, they take the time to explain menu items to make everything sound mouth watering, and they have great attention to detail. The food and drinks are my absolute favorite in the KC area, I honestly don't understand how this place isn't packed every night.

Very disappointing experience. We were seated in the bar area and had a bartender as our server. She was young and had no experience. She stated several times when we asked her a question about the menu that she was new to the restaurant. We ordered halibut and sea bass and the portions were very small. For $50 a plate, you should have a larger piece of fish. It is a beautiful restaurant but was not impressed with their performance last night.
