Sat for 15 minutes before our waiter came initially. Food was very average. Tuna wontons were pathetic. All salsa and almost no tuna. Steak was tough but cooked correctly. We had one appetizer and the filet for our total order and with tip came to over $70. Not worth a return visit

This place is the perfect storm of nice steakhouse food and decor mixed with good music and a lively atmosphere. The waitstaff was laid back, friendly, and extremely sociable. I ended up here by reccomendation and it has now become a destination for me whenever I'm in the area. I wish I had taken more pics but I was too wrapped up in the moment, enjoying the experience to do so. Pictured is the black and blue ribeye with the green beans subbed out for rice. Not (fully) pictured is the plate of asparagus that also came with it.

Great food.....great servce.....fair prices.....for all ages!! Everytime I am there I see many young people with private celebrations.....birthdays, showers, etc. It is definitely on my list of favorites.

Bryan N was a terrific server. My companion and I had a great deal to catch up on and he didn't rush us even though it was a busy Friday night. Food was excellent and prepared as we requested. A fun night at a nice restaurant.

I've dined here several times while on business. I usually make reservations because it's busy. It is a great place to stop in and have quality meal with great service. Very nice wine selection and the menu is creative.

Overall, pretty good! Our party of four had the crab cake appetizer, which was about average, along with the calamari. The calamari was also average compared to comparable establishments and consisted of rings and tentacles. Two of us split a Cesar salad which was good (and plenty for 2 people). Two of us shared the ribeye meal and the kitchen split it for us which was nice. The steak was cooked nicely and seemed to be a quality cut. Two others split the salmon and while underwhelming in size, it was cooked perfectly. This might be the second salmon I've ever tasted in a restaurant that was not overcooked. Delicious.We were celebrating a couple of birthdays so I asked if they had a cupcake or something special for these occasions. I think our server asked if we liked chocolate and everyone said yes. The next thing you know she delivers a three story cake (two layers of chocolate cake with a bottom layer of fudge brownie, covered in chocolate icing). OMG! DELICIOUS!Our service was above average. The server was quirky but fun and quite good once you kinda figured out that she runs the show.We've always had an above average experience at The Tavern and will surely return.
My wife and I had a great dinner here on a Friday night. It was quite busy so I was glad we had a reservation. Our favorites were the sliders and the wedge salad.

Had the Reuben and it was VERY good. The other folks in our group seemed to enjoy their food, too. The place can be a little loud/busy at times, which makes it a challenge to just drop in and get a table or hang in the bar and chat. Fortunately, they do have two semi-private tables on either side of the front door that provide the opportunity to visit. Highly suggest reservations.

We were in a booth. 4 of us & could barely have a conversation because of the noise. The trout & vegetables were swimming in butter. The nachos & desserts were good. Server was exceptional.
