We went here for their Easter Buffet and to say it was underwhelming was an understatement. The food was as cold. Aside from the bread pudding, nothing stood out. Most everything was one bite and done. The breakfast items were similar to a hotel breakfast with heat and serve sausage and instant eggs. Then veggies were mushy. Even the dessert items and entrees all seemed pre made and not fresh. Fried or pre-made food. Mac n cheese waa a clump. Items that wete listwd that they would be on the buffet, werent even there, so false advertising. When you say you are having shrimo cocktail and smoked salmon, you need to have it. Buffet was set up in a way that made no sense and you had to walk by the dessert bar first. Plates were only at one location rather than at each serving place. Many items were empty. When they did bring out new items, they put a dirty serving dish caked with food to where you couldn't even use it. They couldn't even be bothered to clean it off or bring a new utensil. They did pick up dishes off of tables quickly. At $180 for a family of 4, we were very disappointed. It was like they threw together a Buffet for a quick money grab. And when you leave a Buffet and are discussing what you want for dinner that night, that is telling that the food was not good. I messaged the restaurant directly and never received a reply which is also very telling.

Menu is deceitful. Was charged 8 dollars for drinks that were advertised to be 3 dollars during happy hour. Wings have to be the tiniest wings in town. Baby sized wings and sliders are also baby size. Daily specials and happy hour menu is just a rip off. Applebee's is better quality. TVs are tiny. Came here for march madness and they had rodeo on the tvs...

Neighborhood favorite. Food seems to be hit or miss. Never bad. It's just sometimes it's good and other times it's REALLY GOOD. This last visit it was good.

Being in customer service for half of my life and then transitioning to being a salon owner/ manager I’ve learned so much more about the customer experience. I don’t ever leave a bad review bc I understand the depth of what that can be for a business. All that to say I had the absolute worst experience at Blue Moose Lenexa location, by the actual General Manager. They served my family and I the tiniest wings I’ve ever seen in my life. I wouldn’t serve those to anyone if I was the manager. I understand with covid things have changed but it was embarrassing what the wings looked like. Not only that but they also had feathers on them. I took them back so I can order something else and when I pointed out there were feathers on my wings the GM laughed in my face and repeatedly told me there was no way feathers would be on my wings. If you’ve ever had anyone gaslight you the way he did you would just be in shock and I was. He said he wasn’t going to even look at my wings because there’s no chance they’re feathers on them. He mad a scene in front of his hostess and felt like he was trying to embarrass me. He talked to me like I was a child. He didn’t apologize or offer to get me something else. I had a menu I was looking at to order something else and he told me to leave. He told me there was a Johnny’s down the street and he didn’t want my business as he continued to chuckle. It was blown out of proportion and I am still in shock of how I was treated unfairly. Just know there was nothing done about how I was treated there and I would never bring my family or friends to that location.

inside smelled of sewer gas, the wait on a Sun am (to actually get served) was crazy, let us know you’re behind, or under staffed, they were empty, bad look all around, let’s not start in on brunch …

This used to be the go to for brunch. It was amazing. It seems that as of Jan. 13th that all changed. You now have to order off a menu (small one at that). Got my mom biscuit and gravy same as my daughter and they put them both on the same plate with hardly any gravy. Had to ask for another plate just to give my mom some food. $3 FOR A BISCUIT. and it was burnt ,had to ask for gravy because they only put it on 1. The server acted like he didn't care, never offered anything to make it right. He just dissed the place and never went to the owner to say anything. Won't be back for sure. Sad, place used to be so good.
