Very cozy and beautiful interior. The food is amazing. I had the two best arepas of my life. The staff is also very friendly and excited to serve you delicious food. Perfect lunch place. I wish they were open for dinner.

Finally a Venezuelan restaurant!! And a really good one at that! If you haven’t given this place a chance yet, please do so expeditiously. Definitely don’t miss out on the tequeños (they’re these cheese sticks from the heavens) or the pernil sándwich (pork sandwich that’s bomb.com). We ordered everything to go and it smelled so good in the car that we just ended up eating it before pulling up to our driveway. They also do to-go family size orders for different home meals as well when you just don’t feel like cooking dinner and still want a warm home cooked meal; the pasticho is my favorite of those. It’s essentially a lasagna loaded with meat, Um yes please. We’ll def be hitting this spot up again very soon!

I had been looking for a Venezuelan place in the KCI area and I couldn’t had gotten any luckier. This place is amazing. The food is delicious and authentic. I felt like I was back home with every bite I took. Their tequeños, empanadas, arepas are amazing. The service is wonderful, the owner (I’m guessing) treated me like I was her old friend. Super friendly and dedicated. I will definitely be back and hopefully bring some people along.
It's one of the only places I know of that offers Venezuelan food. Not every restaurant out here needs to be Mexican food so it was refreshing to see different options! The guy upfront was very nice. I really enjoyed the arepa I had. 1 star off because the Empanadas were not good. Greasy and shaped as if they had a cookie cutter for their empanadas. Not the authentic homemade feel that I was hoping for.

AMAZING!! I recently moved from South Florida where the Venezuelan food is everywhere. I thought moving to KC all of those flavors and offerings would go away until I found this gem. Great spot for all your favorites. My go to is the Arepas or Empanadas, which are 100% authentic down to the corn meal used for the Arepas. Trust me you will not go wrong ordering anything on the menu. Give it a shot and you will not be disappointed.

Sadly, I'm updating my review because I no longer feel comfortable recommending this small business.I ordered curbside delivery today and observed several concerning behaviors during this season of COVID-19. No one in the restaurant (workers or otherwise) that I could see were wearing mandated masks UNTIL they failed to bring my order to my car so I went to the door. I refused to enter the business since no one was wearing a mask. She told me "let me go get my mask and I'll bring you the food". This carelessness and disregard for the health of others will keep me from ever visiting this place again. I truly would have preferred to cancel my order, but wasn't sure how to do that since it was placed through a 3rd party service.
