Our experience was terrible. My wife and I along with my Son, Daughter in law, and two grandkids sat at a table for over 30 minutes without being acknowledged. There were several service people who walked nearby during bc this time and didn’t even look our way or utter a word to us. I went to the front and found menus for us. A young man eventually came from the bar and took our drink order. After receiving our drinks we sat for at least another 15 minutes before discussing paying for our drinks and leaving. There was a large table and no more than to other tables occupied at the time. When I approached the bar to pay for our drinks I noticed there were at least two service people taking care of patio guests. It didn’t appear they were overly busy or understaffed. This was our first time going there and first impressions matter. To many other choices in my opinion.

I hate to say it, but this was the worst service we’ve had at any restaurant in years. We are a frequent customer at Grinder’s. Our service today was one-star at best. Our order was taken by our waitress and we didn’t hear from her again. She didn’t even say anything when she dropped off the bill. She promised water when she took our order —never got it. Our food was delivered without utensils. My husband had to go find them because our waitress never checked on us. She was so focused on selling a T-shirt to the table next to us that we were ignored completely—maybe we needed to buy a T-shirt! We love Grinders, but will definitely ask to move if we are assigned to her again.

It was my birthday happy hour. Great snacks, great pizza, great service on the patio on a beautiful Spring day. 9 of us fit on the picnic table! Good cocktails as well as great beer choices.
Grinders is a wonderful place to go for a delicious artesian burger with a fun outdoor patio where dogs and kids are welcome and have space to run around. We always have a great time when we come.Kid-friendliness: They have little spring ride on dinos in the yard for the kids to play on

Don't order pizza on a night that pizza is on special. We waited 45 minutes and was told that pizza was on special and the oven wasn't very big. We had ordered salads and asked that they be brought, but instead was assured that the pizza was on the way. After a 45 minute wait the salads are delivered at the same time as the pizza.
