My partner and I were exiting a grocery store around 7PM, feeling quite hungry. We noticed the “Open” sign illuminated at a nearby Papa John’s, so we decided to grab a bite. My partner entered the store to place an order, only to be informed that they were closed, even though it was just 7:05PM.When my partner inquired if they could still prepare a pizza for us, the young man responded, “Let me flip a coin, if it’s tails, I won’t.” This response was shocking. My partner, a senior citizen of 67 years, was treated with such disrespect by a man in his 20s. Is this how customers, especially seniors, should be treated?This behavior is not only inappropriate but also disrespectful to anyone. While making “better pizza” is important, it’s equally crucial to offer “better service”. If the store was closed, why was the “Open” sign still lit, and the door open? In a matter of 5 minutes, Papa John’s lost two customers. Well done, kid.

I want to state that different locations offer different levels of service. This one had my pizzas ready when I arrived at the time specified and it was as expected. I’ve had very different experiences at other locations. YMMV on if your pizza will be ready at the time you requested. I’d highly recommend ordering at least an hour or more in advance during peak meal times such as between 5 to 6 pm. This specific location was not busy so it was a great experience.

Absolutely horrible location with inept workers who are clueless and pathetic in their attitude, customer service, knowledge and work ethic. This location is very close to work; I would rather starve or lick the bottom of my shoe instead. Food was gross, wayyyyyy too many onions, was supposed to have bacon on it, but did not.

Papa John’s has my favorite pizza. Love love love it. I moved here to Shawnee, and this Papa John’s is awful. Do not bother ever ordering food to be delivered at a certain time, as it assuredly will not be. It is often an hour late or more, even if I ordered it to be delivered at a certain time several hours before. By the time it does arrive, it is invariably cold. This particular time, for example, I ordered pizza for 6:00. It is 6:20, and the status of my order says that it is being prepared. It’s not even out for delivery yet, and by the time it is, it will be another half hour at least before it arrives.I give up. I’ve given them several chances. It’s not a fluke or an off night. I’ve got a house full of hungry kids and adults. If you order food to be delivered ASAP, it is usually just as bad. Every once in a while, you’ll get lucky. I will not order from them again. Pizza Hut here we come.

This is now our go to spot for footballl/chain pizza when seeking a cheaper option. They always have the pizzas on time and as you ordered. Usually cooked well (sometimes underdone if they are backed up, but not badly underdone). And PJs has a solid rewards program.

This is a very solid Papa John’s if you like their pizza. My pies have always been hot and fresh, though once there was several people in the store waiting because there was literally one employee in the store taking orders and working the kitchen. Other than that, I’ve had no bad experiences here and would recommend.

Ordered a cheese pizza and it literally had no sauce on it lol just bread and cheese… it was so dry.. I was so annoyed I had to call and get another one, drive back to the store after a long 12 hours at work.. 2nd pizza was better though.I should have read the reviews first lol they were not lying. Definitely my first and last time at this location.

i havent gone to this store or had papa johns for at least a year or two. At first i was kind of sad about the store- hiring signs everywhere, pizza sizes seemed to be nothing compared to what i had once expirenced, and the pitch for "bake at home" seemed to vanish. However, the customer service was super friendly and professional!! And Wow. the pizza was SO filling. The large pizza was about the same size as pizza hut's but they truly didnt skimp out on the cheese and the crust is thicker without being too overbearing. I also got the philly steak meat which I dont think pizza hut has and it was good. I ended up feeling satisfied with half as many slices.I got carryout and that seems to be significantly better than the other reviewers' delivery orders and the store's pricing is fairer than other local pizza places. This location's underrated.
