This USED to be one of our favorite restaurants. It's gone downhill on the food quality. The last 3 visits have resulted in credits to our bill due to poor food quality. I'm not sure if they've changed managers or what, but they have been poor performers. ***UPDATE*** We visited the Lees Summit location and it was like what Lenexa used to be. High quality. I recommend Lees Summit if you want classic Red Door. Stay away from Lenexa if you care about getting what you pay for.

It was very loud and crowded at my visit and it made it difficult to converse with my friend.I tried the fried chicken because I’d heard that was a specialty but it didn’t meet my flavor expectations. It was fine, but not craveable. Lots of standard fried bar food and I was envisioning more.My wine was a bit pricey but I think the beer was decent price.I felt there were some cleanliness opportunities as well. The server was trying but seemed overwhelmed.Anyway just “meh” for me …

My wife and I both had steak for dinner. The KC strip was tender, probably the best we've had. Got to mention the bathrooms, love the sinks and they are very clean. The atmosphere was on the loud side for our taste.

The parking lot always looks too full, but rarely is there much of a wait. The food, staff, and atmosphere are wonderful, friendly, and comfortable respectively. Can't wait to go back.
