“Had a great waitress. I had eaten there before and enjoyed a great chicken dinner. But this time we decided to try the barbeque brisket. It was awful. Nothing like anything I had eaten before. Had coleslaw. It was very creamy but bland. But that's okay because I'd rather have bland than heavy on vinegar and horse radish. The loaded baked potato was great. I would eat here again since I have tried another entree.. But will never order any BBQ in the future. I went away disappointed this time. It's pricey so I expected a better meal. I would recommend this place to friends. But I would caution them against BBQ.Parking: Large parking lot with some handicap spots.”
“We had a small get together here for 9 people. Love the food. Fun friends. Great staff.Parking: Lots of parking.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair friendly. No stairs.”
“While in the area from out of town we were looking for a coffee shop, and could not be happier that we found this place! The service and the drinks were absolutely incredible. We will most definitely be back the next time we are in the area. Totally recommend this place to anyone in the area!”
“The food was great!! Margaritas were awesome! The service was wonderful! We are so glad they came to Louisburg. Even though it was opening day and the parking lot was full they were very fast. We will be back. We highly recommend this place!”
“I highly recommend the General Tso's Tofu. I have never ordered a and dish from this place. Beef and Broccoli, crab racoon, spring rolls, steamed veggies, General Tso's Chicken, Sesame Chicken, Cashew Chicken. I have had it all.”
“Two young girls were working lastnight and it got busy really quick, but they killed it! They were really nice and treated me with respect. These girls did amazing and work really well together as a team. Definitely will be coming back! Store was very clean and the Christmas decorations were awesome. Good job girls.”
“The lady working The register is awesome, very friendly and gives great customer service. We dined in and she was this way with every customer she helped. Also the man working the drive thru sounded very good too, great customer service from him from what I could hear. Great ”
“For fast food it is probably the best in louisburg ks. Country Servers take their time and make things right. It's always hot delicious and the people that bring it to your car extremely helpful”
“This McD's is hit or miss. Food is usually on par for McDonalds. Service can be great or terrible. It is very small for a very busy area - intersection of K-68 and U.S. 69 with hardly any other options in the area. A McDonalds 3 times this size and staff would not be too much. The drive though most often at lunch ask drivers to pull ahead to a waiting area. This is not drive through service. We chose McDonalds, not Sonic. Most of the waiting area spots are small and will not fit many of the patron's vehicles. This is a blue collar, farmer, contractor truck, large family SUV area. Pulling a 25ft truck into a 15ft spot only blocks traffic. Many people have to park at the adjacent gas station and walk over or on the city street when having a trailer. The staff does not understand when I tell them my truck won't fit in the "mobile order" parking spots. This location has a fairly large group of old timers who meet for breakfast or lunch and it is awesome. Like an old local cafe! Once they arrive, there is only about 30% seating left for other customers to sit down. The remodel a few years ago removed more seating in the dining area. Time for an upgrade. On a positive my wife has good success using the mobile app getting our kids a quick meal.”
“This off-the-beaten-path watering hole was a welcomed delight, both for the refreshing and flavorful German inspired drafts, as well as the down to earth customer service. The military inspired beers both tickle your taste buds and your funny bone. This is a must-see for locals and travelers alike.”
“I just stumbled onto Pop's Sweet Shop recently, and I am in love! From the moment you step through the door, Pop's is enchanting. It feels like stepping back in time to a classic sweet shop.I selected mint chocolate chip ice cream from a huge selection of flavors. Taking in the view and smells of all the treats while enjoying an ice cream cone gave me such a warm feeling of nostalgia.I had to bring home some peanut butter fudge to enjoy later. It was decadent, and I'm already planning my next trip to Pop's! I'm dying to try their cannoli!Y'all, grab your people and go visit Pop's Sweet Shop! It is an absolute treasure!!”
“Overall a very nice experience, we will return and recommend. A few constructive criticisms. The charcuterie board left us underwhelmed with only 6 slices of salami and 6 cubes of cheese with the rest being filler snacks from Costco, kind of disappointing at $26. I’m an old fashion drinker and a good one in my opinion has house made simple syrup not a cube of sugar. With the nice selection of whiskeys this would really elevate the drinks. The shop is quaint and inviting with lots of history and items to see and buy. If you’ve got kids that can entertain themselves it’s perfectly fine but if you’ve got the kid who needs more variety it could use a little more beyond bags and horseshoes.”
“We love ❤️ The Nighthawk! There’s nothing more fun and relaxing than sitting in the sunshine and enjoying wine or sangria, charcuterie board or pizza. The live music is always beautiful too! Don & Kathy know how to make us happy! Get out there and experience The Nighthawk!”
“Cute shop with plenty of seating and a grab and go cooler for drinks and snacks. Beautiful spread of pastries fresh pastries includes muffins, croissants, pop tarts, cookies, coffee cake and more plus a light breakfast and lunch menu.Pros: excellent drip coffee, friendly staff, convenient parking, clean restroomsCons: Scalding hot milk in latte/cappuccinos :( dry pastries on several occasions”
“I requested a custom graduation cake for my son who finally finished college. The design was a quirky design with Squidward from SpongeBob. You absolutely nailed it and my son loved the cake. It was a white cake with chocolate filling and the cake was so moist and flavorful. Thank you for the amazing cake!”
“The Berry Patch has rows and rows of beautiful blueberries ripe for picking. I mean, you know, if you go at the right times. And you'll know if the picking is good by following their socials. They post daily picking reports so you can judge whether or not it's worth the drive. We went on a very good picking day, in the evening, and picked just over 3 lbs of berries in no time. I only wish I needed more because it was such a satisfying activity. The farm was easy to find. Google Maps led me there with no issues. We arrived at ample parking space. Staff handed us a bucket and directed us to the currently available picking rows. We then walked all the way to the back of rows 1-3 and found a bevy of berries. After the gathering, we went back to the beginning and headed inside the little store where the berries were weighed and paid for. Fresh berries are a MUST in the summer and these were quite literally the freshest! I made jumbo blueberry muffins and a blueberry-topped cheesecake and they were delicious. The Berry Patch is so worth the effort.”
“Great farm of Buffalo! Love that he was very educational to my family about Buffalo and his farm. He allow my children to pet his horses. Just nice quite farm and great prices on all Buffalo meat we got more than what we went for.”
“Hands down a fantastic way to spend a Saturday or Sunday afternoon! Love the atmosphere, and the homemade wine is delicious! Also the owner / operator was a super nice guy! Will be going back soon.”
“Small town bar and grill only option in town. $16. cheeseburger with fries water to drink that was not that good very dry. Try something else next time. Place could use a good cleaning bathroom was not good.”
“Shelly Gustin and I love this bar... We have lived in town for a very long time, and nearly a year ago we "rediscovered" the Hideout. This place epitomizes us folks of Spring Hill. You may not know anybody when you go in at first, but I guarantee you will know someone before you leave. Everyone there are great people from the patrons to the bar backs. Totally recommend The Hideout to everyone.”
“Nice place. Somerset has a large outside seating area with many tables with umbrellas for hot days as well as a covered veranda at which to enjoy your wine tastings. The vigneron was very friendly, and he shared his knowledge of the grapes and wine-making process as he poured the flights. We'll return!”
