“Totally new to the area and at first our team tried “Joes” in Kansas City and were quite disappointed. I then called this place in hopes they would save our trip with some bomb BBQ and that is EXACTLY what they did. Right off the bat we were welcomed with love and the lady knew exactly what to recommend and serve for us. Sweet tea tasted just like the southern sweet tea, meats were tender and full of flavor INCLUDING their sauce, sides were also the best. You can tell everything was homemade and made with love. Thank you guys for giving us an unforgettable experience in Kansas!”

“Mi Rancho is a wonderful small town Mexican Restaurant. The service was great and the food was good. The restaurant was extremely well decorated and the bathroom was pristinely cleaned. I will definitely be coming back. I recommend parking on the street in front of the store. That is the easiest way. It costed $40 for 2 meals.”

“I was in Onaga, KS (staying in Centralia, KS) for school with some classmates and we headed to Manhattan, KS for a day trip. All 5 of us are from California. All but one are from larger cities, so the Kansas life was a culture shock to us and we needed some city time on our free day. I'm a foodie, so...Of course, I checked out Yelp to find us an early dinner spot. So Long Saloon came up with good ratings, so we headed there. The menu is pretty simple by my standards. Most of us ordered burgers and I got an order of fried pickles to share. "Frickles," if you will. Haha. The frickles were a big hit with me and my classmates. I've never had fried pickles that were so crunchy before. And I loved my burger. I forget what it was called, but it have a deliciously soft fried egg in it with a yolk that burst on my first bite. If I ever find myself in Kansas again, I'd try to stop by here. I really want to try their peanut butter burger. The service was FANTASTIC. We had multiple people checking up on us. They were super attentive and incredibly friendly. The saloon and decorated as one would expect a saloon to be. I love that casual, dive type of feel, so I loved it. Don't be alarmed to find stuffed animals everywhere you go in Kansas. Seems to be a staple around there.”

We arrived and were greeted by Akhil who was friendly and did his absolute best to accommodate our needs. (The women in the group have a tendency to ask for a lot of side options lol).Upon sitting in the booth you can tell that this is a restaurant in a college town as the booths were dirty and what appeared to be food was on the backs of some of the stalls. The food is a five star and if you are someone looking for a clean atmosphere to match this may not be it. For those who have OCD around their food this may not be it. The food was great as well as the wine and beer.One thing I want to discuss here is an occurrence that took place during our meal. While in the middle of deep conversation and reflection at the table a little girl came over to our table. From the looks of it she was still pretty young and I believe she was related o the manager who later came and told her to leave us be. But before this the little girl stood there for approximately 45 seconds to a minute interrupting us by chanting na nana na na while pulling up here shirt. The first time we thought it was funny and then went back to our conversation to be interrupted several more times. At this point it became slightly obnoxious. Now don't get me wrong I understand that this is normal behavior for children and common place in other cultures, I just felt that it was not conducive for atmosphere component. When the manager came over to get here there was not an acknowledgment of us.With this one annoyance I think that the in house experience was worth it and would dine in again if I see a change in the cleanliness of the booths.”

“By far one of the best places to eat in junction city when they are open, my husband and I have tried passing threw just to see if they are open, we finally where able to order some food, (see pic) the food was fantastic and the side of nacho cheese I ordered with my fries was amazing!! Ps they only take cash!! But so worth every penny and the gentleman that came and took our order was kind. Best food truck I would recommend.”

“Great bartenders, music is a bit loud at times for the amount of people. Kind of a read the room moment. If it's packed crank it up if you have less then 7 people turn it down and play some mellow stuff. At least so I can hear my husband from a foot away. Music is good just tone it down sometimes.”

“I am the Chairman for Junction City / Geary County Crime Stoppers and we had a banquet offsite in Junction City for around 270 people on March 1st, 2024. Nico's catered the food and the bar! 10/10 would recommend. Their staff was polite and willing to help from the very beginning of the process from booking to night of. The staff on site was incredible, especially Kendall who made sure everyone was taken care of. I can't say enough about how amazing it was to not have to worry about the food and bar, while spear heading a banquet. I will definitely be reaching out again next year for our annual banquet! The atmosphere is lovely as well. I would strongly recommend their Mac and cheese. :)Vegetarian options: There are menu items that can be modified to be vegetarian. I was surprised to find that the avocado toast comes with bacon on it! You can also order their Mac and cheese with no meat.”

If your new to town and looking for the best place in Manhattan to get Boba from, look no further, Pandora Rolled Ice Cream has the best Boba in Manhattan. And to top it off the customer service is literally so great, I could not ask to be treated better!! 10/10 Definitely recommend!”

AJ's pizza is amazing here, they even have a burger and some chicken entrees, 10/10. The Valentine's drink specials were so cute and delicious. And of course the Roulette was not disappointing.
